Job done, well done GC for playing young Kellett in that roaming position [ hole??] He took to it like a duck to water and should really have scored with that one on one in the second half.
Can’t wait to see his goal on football league show, the build up and finish looked top notch from where I was sat 100 yards away. :cheer:
Saw them on Sky sports news early JR and our first was very good. Good build up, good lay off from Jacobs and great finish. From the bits i’ve seen of him I quite like the look of Kellett.
Second was more a Barnsley comedy store than anything else, but Yanic put it away well.
is there a link with goals anywhere.
Go on newsnow wigan athletic there is a link to highlights of the game.

What a journey! The spark seems to have gone out the team the last few weeks and I think the players themselves should shoulder some of the responsibility for this. Surely GC doesn’t say to his team, right lads you have been playing OK recently, time for a change and a few bad performances to just to upset the fans.
I agree that post Rochdale, GC scored an own goal and has paid the price. He left Jason Pearce out the following game and made a few more unnecessary changes in my opinion. I began to think like many others, is he tinkering too much, is he trying to please all the players etc. etc.
There will be things that are happening that we are not aware of, for example Pearce could have had a few niggles having not played for a while. There is no feeling his way back with Pearcy, it’s everything gung-ho, there’s no holding back in the tackle.
Its been a bad few weeks following the end of our winning run, but I believe we will go on a similar winning run sooner, rather than later. Coventry are on a poor run of form now, Sheff U have been on one, all the teams in this league will, because they haven’t got strength in depth we have so it will hit um.
GC is learning his trade and learning well for a novice, I would have liked to have seen a John Rudge or even a Neil Warnock alongside him, but he’s doing OK.
I’m doing the full Christmas and new year games and I wouldn’t be surprised if we are knocking on the door or even have one foot inside the door of a top two place, come 5pm Jan 2nd 2016.

What a journey!Yip there is one in the west. I usually go in the turnstiles nearest the South stand and have seen it, so I think it might be in that bank.

What a journey!Fek me your talking about 42 years ago!
Clubs like Bolton, Preston, and Blackpool won things half a century ago, it wont be that long off before there will be nobody alive that remembers those triumphs or anyone that really cares.
Even Goliath won a few battles before David decked him, yet everyone only talks of his demise. How long do you fekin want to go back?

What a journey! At least the ball was played forward for the penalties.
Ouplayed and outclassed by a fitter, hungrier, better and much more positive side. We were dreadfull again. Huge improvements are going to have to be made to even dream of getting promoted.I think that summary is a bit too flattering for Barnsley, they played OK against a team who had 9-10 players off form. There was only Power and Grigg did owt, the rest couldn’t pass water. Barnsley just managed to scrape through on penalties despite that fact.
If GC stops fekin about with the team, trying to make all the players happy and sticks with his best 11, we will muller Barnsley at their place. It wasn’t a surprise that they scored their first goal down our right side, when GC played a left footer in the right wing back role in front of an inexperienced centre half. I admit his options were limited with Love and Daniels out, but you could tell the lad was struggling. He looked a different proposition when moved to the left side in the second half, but then GC spoiled it again by switching Yanick to the right wing. Very puzzling decisions to say the least. Well done Barnsley and good luck in the northern area final.

What a journey! The player on his day is unplayable, but GC has identified a few areas he needs to buck up on and one I have to agree with, his tracking back. He goes on one of his mazey runs, gets tackled and thinks jobs done. You cannot get away with that anymore, its all about putting a shift in on and off the ball these days.
He needs to watch Perkins, James and Jacobs to see how many miles they put in over 90 mins, a lot of them are clocked up running towards our own goal.
I would deffo put a bid in for him though, as soon as the January window is slightly ajar. :cheer:

What a journey! What a cracking interview. No sulking and moaning about those couple of decisions that went against Rochdale. A really good sportsman. Good luck to him and Rochdale for the rest of the season.Thought that myself, he really was bumming us up. Spoiled it a bit by referring to us as the club with money to throw around , but was very gracious in defeat and his hands apologised a bit too.
