Is that a serious post?
If it is just pop up our lads in comparison
Ta
The point being that Rangers are not the team people on here are making out.
Lets go for comparison one and two, Waghorn and Tavernier, not good enough to play for a poor championship team who got relegated, but now playing every game for Rangers this season… over to you, start with the goalies if you want Jussi v Fothers. :PFrom Matlock to ManU
What a journey! We are in the East Stand the one that just has BFC in the seats. In past years this was the home end. On some photos its called the Cemetery End. The one that used to house the away support was the Manchester Road End, that is the one with the pillars.

What a journey! If I was picking a comparison club in England, Rangers would be Sheffield Wednesday,
Queen of the South would be Forrest Green and Celtic would be Middlesbrough.I would certainly fancy our chances with Rangers any day, lets look at the backbone of this great team;
Goalkeeper – Wes Fotheringham [was with Fulham 2009/10 season played zilch, loaned out to Bromley played 7, was with Crystal Palace, 2010-2012, played zilch, loaned out to Bromley again, played 33 times, loaned out to Boreham Wood and Histon, played 14 games, loaned out to Swindon where he eventually signed and played over 150 games. Was released by Swindon end of last season and signed for Rangers.
Cameron Bell [was with Kilmarnock for 11 seasons making just 115 starts, loaned out to Montrose and Q of the S, played 19 games before moving to rangers in 2013, played 47 games. played for his national team Scotland just the once]Central defenders; Rob Kearnan [we know how good he is] and Lee Wallace El Capita-no. [Rangers bid £300k for him, Hearts wanted £3m, they eventually got him for £1.5m]. Wallace has played just 8 times in 6 years for as we know is pish poor Scottish national team.
Midfielders – Andy Haliday [Was with Middlesbrough 5 years, 2010-15 in which time he was loaned out at Walsall, Blackpool and then Bradford, who he eventually was sold to earlier this year. Bradford released him at the end of last season and he signed for Rangers].
Jason Holt [was with Hearts for 4 years 2011-15 during which time he was loaned out to Raith Rovers, then Sheffield Utd. Rangers signed him from his parent club Hearts this season for £65K, yes £65,000]Forwards – Nathan Oduwa [Come through the ranks at Spurs so decent pedigree, HOWEVER, didn’t make the first team, was loaned out to Luton last season played 11 times scored zilch, loaned to Rangers this season, played 8 scored zilch]
Martin Waghorn- [we know all about him no matter what anyone says he did diddley squat for us]I put before you the backbone of Rangers football club!

What a journey!Well he’s joint favourite with the bookies for the next England manager! I hope he gets it! ha ha haI can just see the headlines in the national rags….”England Rogered!”

What a journey! It’s good that they have given us the East Stand, no stupid pillars to dodge. :cheer:

What a journey!Martin Waghorn named Scottish Championship player of the month for September. Little Jimmy McClellan, a 6 year old right back from Raith Rovers U7’s came a close second. :woohoo:

What a journey!Positives. Junior is our class in midfield while he’s here, we’ll look better when he’s playing, he would have got on but for the sending off, arguably should have started. The lad from Middlesbrough will be a good player for us while he’s here. Get Davies back we’ll look better. If he was match fit and 100% alert Grigg would have got a couple. Jacobs is immense and was our attacking impetus. Donervan Daniels, who’d have thought it our new overlapping full back, looking good. Reece James, getting better each game and has more than a touch of the Leighton Baines about him. Clean sheet with 10 men and a new keeper, fairly confident we would have won but for a sending off. Going forward with pace and directness scares all these teams. If they’re 2nd and unbeaten away we have absolutely nothing to fear.Negatives. Slow build up again particularly first half, got to go more direct, Barnett still scares the life out of me, Perkins and Power together isn’t going to see us winning regularly in fact I thiink regrettably Perkins is going backwards in more ways than one. Breaks up play well but can’t pass to a team mate, watch him pre-match too. Without the captain for 3 games, not sure where we’d get with an appeal but surely the lad bangs the ball forward and at no point does he have a goal scoring opportunity as JJ collects the ball, not to mention their yellow in the first half which looked more goal threatening.
Definitely glass half full for me,
Is it not just a one match for preventing a goal scoring opportunity? Thought you’d have got this one right having made all that fuss about Barney’s red card at Port Vale.

What a journey!I thought Power and Perkins both put a good shift in again today, we nullified a good Walsall team.
The stand out player again for me is Jacobs, what a signing he has been, running for 90 mins and never looks back always forward. Daniels gave us a bit of the old Lee Mac outlet and did quite well.
I too expected Junior to start, but I’ll give Caldwell his due, he doesn’t try to rush players back from injury.

What a journey!Apparently he is not a bad golfer to. I saw him and his mum walking down to Haigh hall and one of his mates rode past on his bike, his mum shouted Look Donald!

What a journey!Back to irrelevant rantings and making things up like ‘earth shattering feat’ which before you googled it thought related to those things on the end of your legs which you haven’t seen for some time.More contradictions than I know where to start with, at least you know what the fook you’re going on about.
I’m glad you cleared up why you were laughing so much, life for you must be just one big blast.
Nay lad, thas had to resort to throwing personal insults again, thought we were debating the wags / tav milarky?. Frustrated middle aged cyber warriors tend to do that when they have been verbally rag dolled.
See you’ve also been bashed about a bit by egg and GL on the supporters club thread, you childishly started. The supporters club are a great bunch and good luck to um, you obviously don’t use them or you would appreciate the work they put in to get us lot to and from games safely. Can’t remember you starting a thread about that?
I’ve referred to you previously as CL’s Victor Meldrew, now I think even he would sooner put both feet in the fekin grave than go out for a pint with you. :lol:Just remember, people can lose a bit of weight if they are bothered about it, however, there’s fek aw that con do if thas geet an ugly grid.
George, lock this thread pal before Turrince asks me again to meet him for fisty cuffs before the Millwall game. :P

What a journey! Why are you laughing, I can only think you are daft enough to consider critic to only have one meaning i.e. a professional person who’s opinions are in the most valued.I have you amongst others down as numbers 1 and 3:
crit·ic
(krĭt′ĭk)
n.
1. One who forms and expresses judgments of the merits, faults, value, or truth of a matter.2. One who specializes especially professionally in the evaluation and appreciation of literary or artistic works: a film critic; a dance critic.
3. One who tends to make harsh or carping judgments; a faultfinder
You know what they say about small things and small minds…….
Here hi goes again, Mr Copy and paste
Lets put it another way then, you see Waghorn scoring goals against Morton, Raith, Q of the S, etc as something that is an earth shatteringly great feat* that he has answered his critics?.
feat 1 (fēt)
n.
*1. An act or accomplishment of great courage, skill, or imagination; an achievement.
2. Obsolete A specialized skill; a knack.
[Middle English fet, from Anglo-Norman, from Latin factum, from neuter past participle of facere, to make, do; see dhē- in Indo-European roots.]
Synonyms: feat1, achievement, exploit, masterstroke
These nouns denote an extraordinary deed or action: feats of bravery; achievements of diplomacy; military exploits; a masterstroke of entrepreneurship.
I bet Malky and Uwe are crying themselves to sleep at night having thrown away the opportunity of having wags and tav at their disposal, but failed to see they were the answer to all their problems.
Surely even you by now have worked out that the Scottish championship is a total pile of shyte. I sat and endured a game last week and it reminded me of watching Latics v Goole Town all those years ago.
Having said that you can only score goals against the team that your playing and Wags has netted a few, even though a fair proportion of them have been pens.

What a journey!A quick whizz round Twitter says the Rangers fans are more than happy with our cast offs, a good number literally pissing themselves that they got them both for 400kAlways makes me chuckle when folk say they weren’t good enough because the likes of Malky McKay didn’t like them in training. Brenda Spencer could have done better than Malky.
Is that Malky the millionaire football manager you are talking about? It always makes me chuckle when fans think they know players better than their managers and coaches, who work with them day in day out and not just once a week for 90 mins or less. I suppose your comment about “the likes of Malky McKay” was reference to Uwe Rossler?.
I too thought Malky McKay was the wrong choice as manager and didn’t do a very good job for us, however, he did do a great job at Cardiff taking them to their first ever league cup final and also to the premier league.
He came to Wigan with a load of baggage and it was never going to be the marriage Whelan expected. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t tell a good player from a bad one or mediocre one, you are very nieve if you do.I’m still laughing at your “answering their critics” comment, what a gem that was.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Stop trying to over analyse things, they just didn’t show enough to the people that mattered, during their time with us, both on the training ground and on the pitch.
No matter what they do now, or how many times you come on after they score for their current team “THEY JUST WEREN’T GOOD ENOUGH”
As I said in my previous post, good luck to the lads I hope they continue to do well this season and next season in the SPL. Just like I hope Billy McKay does well for Dundee Utd.
As for answering their critics, who the hell are their critics?, come on don’t say any posters on here. :lol:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! The general consensus from Rangers fans I know is that Tavernier is a fantastic player who’ll do well in the SPL if they get promoted, but Waghorn needs too many chances before he converts one – so basically, he’s decent but not brilliant.
Wonder what they think today. Must get some chances that Waghorn like.[/quote]
Still didn’t do out for us. Lets put it all into perspective, Waghorn’s Rolex watch cost more than the entire Greenock Morton team.
The only thing his current form is proving to me, is that the Scottish Championship is utter tosh and that both Waghorn and Tavernier have found their level.
You can’t knock um for that, so good luck to the lads.
