Best man for the job in my opinion. Has never took a backwards step inan England shirt. If we are picking captains for their off field conduct then it would rulealmost all the squad out Rooney, Gerrard, Ferdinand, Cole just a few who come to mind
Excellent article some great memories of the team and players from this time
No it wouldnt but it would allow him more time and lighten the work load would only have 1 or 2 defenders on him instead of the 4 or 5 he has had all season
Think they had just beat Young Boys (oh er) in the CL qualifier the Weds before we played em
I dont think they are going to be sat around or playing golf whilst in La Manga and chances are they will probably play some kind of behind closed doors game against a local team
Many of my friends who are Bolton, Utd, City, Liverpool fans all seem to think he is our best player also maybe he looks good on MOTD or highlights. I do agree with parts of the article though if the supply was better or if someone was up front with him then he would score a lot more than he does
Very much doubt it they will be training but having a week off could help us as Birmingham play twice before they play us
we dont only play 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1) at all weve seen that one 4-4-2, 5-3-2 and probably a couple more aswell. the last one as recent as man city in the second half when sammon came on.
Can you tell me when we started a game or even changed formation with anything left than 10 mins left? It is 4-5-1 no matter how Martinez or his supporters try to cover it up. This was shown numerous times on Sat as Hugo was the only player in their half for most of the 1st half with the nearest player 30-40 yards away
Another player who I dont think had much of a chance with us. Only pl;ayed a handful of games and I thought he looked ok when he played at the beginning of the Hutchings season
I had a go and only have us finishing with 35 points and not enough to stop up
Yes
Hes better than most of the other midfielders we have (Watson, Gomez, Thomas)
I actually rate him and think he could do a good job for us if he is played with McCarthy and McArthurNow he knows how we feel everytime we play a big team
I actually dont think that the majority or the squad is that bad. The likes of Al Habsi, Alcaraz, Diame, McCarthy, Moses, Hugo, N’Zogbia, Boyce and Cleverly are all good players plus McArthur, Di Santo, Figgy can do a job. The problem is the formation/system that they play in and the man in charge of them. As I have said before the group of players we have here are not one of the worst three in the league
I cant understand the amount of people who would prefer us to be in the Premier League. IF we do go down does that mean the majority of you wouldnt want us to get promoted again if this league is so bad?
