traditionally closes at the late August Bank holiday weekend; so I’ll be free to watch the Latics. Should I be sad or happy ????
Game will be off on 26th August. There’s no trains to London all that weekend due to the start of HS2 construction so all 30 of them (is that actually 30 or 30% as Eric Pollard would have us believe) wont get back for the Sunday ko.

The only thing putting me in melt down is the 40 degrees Celsius here in Feurtoventura. Another 10 days of it to pur up wee. I’m hoping for a change to the Pompey game, I’m at a wedding all day on the 26th. How sweet would it be for the chubsters to be my saviour. I’m actually in a win win situation with this one![/quote]

I usually pay on credit card and pay it off over 2 or 3 months so renew about a week before the deadline to minimise the cost. Gives a few days spare in case of any system issues.

I am not judging his appointment. He could be a good appointment. We have had eight seasons of our previous lot not using the lone striker in the correct way and eight seasons of mostly drab boring football. Can Cooky do with this type of football what Martinez, Coyle, Rosler, McKay, Caldwell, Yootha and Barrow didn’t do?

This 1 up front malarky is all well and good with top players with fluid play. We don’t have that luxury.
El Clueless started it all with his Champions League football with Championship players on a non league pitch…with the occasional flourish let’s not forget, but otherwise it’s been downhill all the way.
