If it is £13m its very good business for us. To be blunt I’ve never rated McCarthy, especially after one of my Scottish friends slated him for playing for Ireland.

What’s happening with the Greek Island though? That’s gone all quiet

Breathed a sigh of relief when Swansea got Valencia not us….

I would have sold one of my kids to get Valencia.
You still might have to pay for Russian trip :woohoo:

Seriously though, depends what people really wanted from the draw. A few jollies round Europe or games we might have a chance of winning.

Cant claim to have much knowledge of the other teams, but compared to what the draw might have been, yes we have a very good chance.

At least we’re not going to Israel, which I know a few were concerned about.

Bruges also has a seaport at Zeebrugge that connects directly to Hull if anybody fancies the ferry.

Could be an option. 2 negatives make a positive….ferries and Hull

Still waiting for club travel arrangements

Good to see the home games are all 8.05 start of play.

6.00 would have been a pain in the youknowwheres for a lot of people to get to.

Where did you see this? Also do you know what time the other games will kick off? Important for travel arrangement!
Club have updated the fixtures list on website.

    TV changes…

Not sure if they can change them much as there’s some restriction about having teams from same country playing at the same time.

The Russian authorities waived the visa requirements for the Champions Lge Final Chelski V ManUre didn’t they? They accepted match tickets in lieu of a visa.

Cant see that happening for us.

Even DW himself would admit he doesn’t have quite the same influence as Abramovich with the Kremlin :S

Seen several sites offering visa services.

This 1 seems to be official…

Don’t think I’ll be going somehow

It would be more exciting to watch if Terry Wogan was adding his erudite comments

As a result of some of these shocks tonight, we’ve scraped in to pot 2.

Good news for those wanting us to progress in the groups.

    By golly we have indeed….

    Reet, no messing around.

We must play our strongest side for the 1st 3-4 games, take stock after that.

This is a great opportunity to sell the club around Europe to potential recruits have a mega pish up the like of which we haven’t seen since 11/05

Israel looks likely as 2 teams in pot 3 below us. No worries 6 Typhoons went to Cyprus today :P

Cant wait…the Mrs wants to go away to 1 game so its all systems go in the LL household :woohoo:

Under Martinez, there were a dozen Spanish speakers at Wigan, so there may not have been a great incentive to learn English. Martinez is certainly very articulate in English.

There used to be a rumour going round where I sit that the half time teamtalk was done in English then Spanish.

That is, in English to the Spanish speaking ones and Spanish to the English speaking ones

It was all part of RM’s master plan of speaking a common language or summat.

It also explained why the players often looked clueless in the first few minutes after the interval.

Now the players have a lecture spoken in Glaswegian, which the Jimmy Mcs aside, no one understands :woohoo:

Was it in the same league as the Millwall fans having a ding-dong in April?

    Not quite

Block 543 up top behind the posts. About 20 involved initially shouting and angry pointing at each other. Several women involved as well.

Stewards eventually moved in. No sign of the Fuzz.

Stewards moved a few out of the area including kids. Then 2 blokes altercated….

Fighting amongst yourselves when you’re winning…that’s a bit strange
