My dream (though wholly possible) group would be:

    Ajax
    Palermo
    Wigan Athletic
    Limassol

Sounds good to me…Amsterdam without the Mrs this time

Watch out for the Mafia in Palermo

Stuart Pearce was mentioned in the Mirror apparently.

Could do a lot worse (Coyle, Kean… )

At least he will put more attention on the importance of defending

    Steve Kean

I’d rather Whelan did the job himself :woohoo:

    Chris Hutchings

Remember though, the play off final before the season we were promoted from the Championship was won by…..

    Crystal Palace.

They were relegated after one season and we went up :cheer:

History is about to repeat itself…let’s win the Championship this time

    O

    Hi,

For some reason my account on this forum got deleted…weird…anyway I re-registered.

I couldn’t log in for days after the final. Said my password didn’t match my username or I didn’t have an account.
ditto
The forum crashed due to all our new fans around the world trying to log in at once

I couldnt log in for 3 days recently on my browser until I switched to google chrome.

JayT found the recovery program to sort it…

The even better news was he’d hid it in the War Chest :woohoo:

    Simply glorious :woohoo:

I am now feeling very positive about tonight…it’s fated again because…

I’ve just 5 min ago had a Premium Bonds cheque :woohoo: :woohoo:

Tonight will be our night ;)

    in reply to: Believe #113321

Bobby will have a plan for tonight, be sure of that ;)

Does it involve a brown envelope and the referee?
Well we have just won £1.8m ;)

Or maybe he’s finally found the war chest

    in reply to: Believe #113318

If we don’t BELIEVE there is no point to it all…

Yes the odds are overwhelming, as they were last season, 2006-7, Saturday..the list goes on.

At least we know the exact task, daunting as it is. Win both games we stay up for certain.

Bobby will have a plan for tonight, be sure of that ;)

    in reply to: Superstitions #113310

Well it would save cutting the lawn :woohoo:

We defied overwelhming odds. We shook the footballing world.

    Believe

    in reply to: Mancini #113307

    Wenger next to go? :woohoo:

Be careful what you wish for ………… not sure if Roberto would take (if offered) the Everton job, but I’m sure he would jump at going to the Gunners.
Irony is lost on some

I’m not supersticious but I believe in fate.

    Negative and positive.

Swansea last week was only the 2nd time I’ve been severely delayed in traffic going to ground…1st was Wolves 2009 (Bobbys 1st home game).

The mental side of me said we’d loose versus the sheep

Said it before but I didn’t sleep all night after we drew Millwall…I knew then it was on and remembered Wimbledon. I was 100% sure we would lift the cup. I told you so over and over that we would win…the footy gods had made it so…25 yrs, other sports in town, Bobby managing both…It was too scary a coincidence for it not to happen

    I posted David V Goliath on Friday…

Sat morning the wife and I walked into Covent Garden…there it was David V Goliath on the wall…

Got off T’Underground at Wembley Park about 2.30 it was P**ing down. Said to wife that’s an omen…our semi it poured down, City v Chelski was a lovely day.

When the teams went up on the screen, we realised the scale of the task. Especially the bench…their’s was awesome; ours was last man standing.

No footballing logic seeing those names could see us winning. We didn’t have a cat in hells chance on paper….

But football is played on grass ;)

So much to look forward too next season (even if the end comes tomorrow..)

3 months to plan another trip to Wembley

3 away trips to Euro destinations

3 home games against the above

100% commitment from me to go to Wembley in August, all 3 Euro home games and (at least) 1 Euro away game.

We really do need to look into chartering a plane. We said it a bit tongue in cheek a few weeks ago but now it’s for real
