Even D.W admits in today’s press that we have bought some second rate players from Swansea’, that we don’t sometimes know how to defend a game, and that we have played bl oo dy rubbish at times. So I think Roberto will have the message and knows that next season will have to be significantly better, because there will be no second chances.
Does it annoy anyone else that everyone thinks we will be just pushed to the side and roll over for Chelsea. I’m not for one minute saying I expect we will go there and beat them but I think the ‘pundits’ should give us a bit more respect.Once again it would be nice for our “little” unfashionable team to stick two fingers up at the pundits and have the audacity to cause an upset in the destiny of the title. Afterall, we have drawn at Stamford bridge before !

I think Man City play West Ham on the last day of the season. What would be nice would be Tevez scoring the winning goal that relegates them.

Do you think owd Avram might rest a few players; cos on saturday they play Villa @ Fratton Park. So he might rotate his squad, since he has the luxury of playing for nowt !
1st well done pompey,but i think weds game will be even harder now they will be buzzing after todays result.I thought today 0-0 after 90 mins brilliant another 30mins to play burn them out even more for weds and if spurs nick a winner will deflate them all together with been relegated,but it wasnt to be :roll:Aye, but the shear emotion of beating the odds can also work as a great energy sapper as well; especially if they go on the pish ( who cares about the league attitude, two fingers to the Prem, etc ). Avram is off to Auschwitz straight after the game; so maybe while the cat’s away the Pompey will play. Doesn’t give him much time to prepare for the Latics trip on Wednesday.
