The only thing he did was score in his first appearance against the Gunners. He’s way down the list as far as Latics Legends go, but pretty high on the spectacular pricks list.The only positive today, was that me and Horc saw some cracking totty on’t way home ! Can’t believe that they’re sold out. Must be the Kensington Reds in our end then !Even D.W admits in today’s press that we have bought some second rate players from Swansea’, that we don’t sometimes know how to defend a game, and that we have played bl oo dy rubbish at times. So I think Roberto will have the message and knows that next season will have to be significantly better, because there will be no second chances.
Does it annoy anyone else that everyone thinks we will be just pushed to the side and roll over for Chelsea. I’m not for one minute saying I expect we will go there and beat them but I think the ‘pundits’ should give us a bit more respect.Once again it would be nice for our “little” unfashionable team to stick two fingers up at the pundits and have the audacity to cause an upset in the destiny of the title. Afterall, we have drawn at Stamford bridge before !
