Maloney was In the Players Lounge.
Don’t think he would have been there if his Teddy had been launched.Horc also reported that Grant Holt was holding a pint !
But it turned out to be someone else’s.
Just shows that you should not jump to conclusions about what you see or hear.Let’s take some positives from today, Bobby esque style,
If we took three points with a less than convincing performance, what will be capable of when we play good !!!
Felt good to me, walking off the ground with three points in the bag. My beer even tasted better tonight,
Thought Shotton had a really good home debut.
I think Bobby will be disappointed though, because two of their goals were from direct free kicks and they don’t count as proper goals ! Well that was what he said about Maloney’s goal at Norwich last season when his interviewee was raving about it in the post match chat !
I agree that it’s a great point, mainly because we were lucky not to lose by the skin of our teeth, giving the ball away like school kids & last ditch lucky defending was what I saw, 1 meaningful attempt at goal in the second half, I don’t want to slag the performance off but each game leaves me with more concerns although it’s difficult to say how good or bad Zulte are .
Nail on the head ! Fans being whipped up into a European frenzy when the evidence of very sloppy play was there for all to see again ! Concerned? You should be ! :S
Ffs. We shouldnt expect anything in Europe. Anything was a bonus. Entertaining game and we could have won it late on if we had a bit of luck in front of goal.
Take a reality check. Little wigan rubbing shoulders in europe… lool how far we have come
For me the game was always secondary to this momentous “Latics” occasion of our first ever competitive game in Europe. You had to be there to savour 2 fantastic days in our history, Worth every penny ( or Euro ) that was spent ! Those memories will last a long time ! Thanks Little Wigan !!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, we will be witnessing another Milestone in our history ! We must be the most successful “small club” in recent footballing history, without any doubt !!!!!!!
See you all there !!!!!!he’s a nice young mangozzer
He needs to come out of the closet then; don’t you think ?
pinkie
Well spotted !
Do you think that OC will give him more games than the last Man Utd Loanee got at Wigan in a full season ? Note: I was very careful not to mention a certain “past employee” in the process; so that his groupees have no need to leap to his defense,
I see you were very careful to litter your post with spelling mistakes, though
Mmmm, everybody’s favourite SMART ARSE, aren’t we just.

Roberto shafted us the night we played Swansea !
I’m convinced his mind was on the Everton job that he had signed up to before the game. His team selection was poor and his performance as a Manager was gutless; especially against a Swansea side that didn’t really give a toss !Tick Tock, Tick Tock; two more places to go !
This post is set to run !
You Leyland lot seem to have a very unhealthy obsession with Martinez. Let it go! Why are you remotely arsed about what happens at Everton. We have let it go; in fact we have definitely cut him adrift !!!
However it is interesting to follow the fortunes of our past players or managers. Likewise we’ll be keeping a sneaky eye on Brucie, etc.Mutty’s agenda always revolves around a morbid fascination with attendances. I’d like any random Latics fan to explain why he loathes all Wigan RL and wouldn’t want them to win at Wembley (just a couple of sentences will do, nothing too taxing). Curious, that’s all. Ta :)Why do you think they are called “Cuckoo Warriors”, that gives you a clue to one aspect that alienates Latics fans against them.
You are right – it was a crap game. Just as the FA Cup Final was a crap game. And there were empty seats, just as there were in May.
However the facts are that Wigan now have two of the oldest sporting knock-out trophies in their possession – something never done before and probably wont ever happen again.
Well done Wigan!
Correct, but nobody gives a fuck about one of them.
We’ll trump em; by holding two major Cup trophies in the same year ( when we pick up the Carling Cup in February 2014 ) !
N’Zogbia on loan maybe ?????????????????????????
