Reading shipping cheap goals but Le Fondre keeps popping up .You are spot on .We are not defending well but we play as a team and we dont have the final third penetration to rescue us.

Bolton home if you want to be picky…..but the point was meant to be that all this dung about taking time/skill/ patience to build a resilient squad granted on a restricted budget has progressed not a jot in 31/2 seasons.Still struggling with any consistency (apart from the last seasons still unfathomable run in) and no confidence we will do so any time soon.

Absolute streaming hound mound. Each time we rested players for the embarrassments that were Notts co, , Blackpool, Swindon, ,Bradford etc we have then gone on to lose the next league game too, so rotating our rice paper squad is working a treat. Quality wise this 3sorry 4 now season plan has us with no better than we had when he arrived and me for one is cocked off with results like yesterday (which isn’t a one off) becoming acceptable. It would be a respite to have a little trot in a cup but we only need to rest 2 players and we are goosed.

Step down you mean …it’s Bournemouth and another possible last page headline on Sunday !!

Cant remember the facts for the chelsea game but can for leeds. Was on a Sunday noon and it was howling.I stand to be corrected but didnt Leeds hit 2 long range efforts with the wind behind them.I think it was quarter final stage and I really believed we could do em,went back to Balcarres in Scholes gutted.!!!

Yes, played the prems whipping boys off the park !!I didn’t expect us to win just try make a game of it ,which they didnt. As for Di Santo ,technically good but a luxury .He is a striker remember whose 1 goal every 10 games is poor return and looked completely disinterested today.

It was man u though lets be fair. …but normal service against them resumed. 7 wins from last 10 last season may have to be repeated .Just wonder what happened to the springboard those wins were supposed to create? .Bloody awful today and Al Habsi not in the best vein of form not helping. Saving grace I.m.o.Reading, qpr still look worse but only just !!!

Playing behind a defence like ours last season and on average his form
has been outstanding.Cech playing behind the likes of Terry has dropped as many clangers if not more than most and he has seen better days .Please remember that our keeper will come under more pressure than most and based on that alone and the no of times he has singled handed kept us in a game puts him high up the prem top keepers list.
