Picking him as a forward ? Seriously?…With 3 on the bench ..In his present form I wouldn’t pick him at all.They were crap and don’t give me it’s an improvement bull,we created virtually nil.Whilst the teams around us Rovers,Cardiff,Forest put the pressure on our management happy with the point and boring the pants off us.Anyone who things this management team/squad is anything other than an amateurish league 1 outfit needs to keep off the spirits and happy pills.As for building his own team when transfer window opens…..really!!!
Staying in leeds for the weekend so made a rare away trip……wish I hadn’t. No striker ,midfielders akimbo,does bring a striker on its Davies.Absolutely no intention of going for the win….very poor,in fact p**s poor.Say goodbye to Grigg come January no striker worth his salt would sit on bench in a team as crap as this.Things need to improve massively or we will soon have a mountain to climb…..if not already!!
Great result albeit a smash and grab but had it done to us enough so I’ll take that with both hands.Hope our chairmans patience is rewarded with the right man …certainly seems to be doing his homework……Giggs for me for several reasons but i’ll get behind whoever is appointed.
If it is Joyce so be it but I for 1 think the club will have missed a great opportunity not giving Giggs his chance. The lift the it would have given the club…publicity..respect given from the players .Granted lack of experience a negative but managing a group of talented kids in a non competitive friendly competition doesn’t do it for me.Support him I will though for he is appointed but Giggs/Scholes (if they were ever interested) was the choice for me.
Can’t agree we create chances.Grigg 1 of this leagues best poachers completely starved. Nil midfield support ,completely isolated .Preston 83 mins possession and 1 Grigg header to show for it and same against Burton. Xmas too late for me cos if we’re still crap Grigg will be gone soon after then we’re going to be goosed altogether relying on ALF and Davies to bang em in.Need to wash the essence of Robbie out of our hair completely including backroom boys if next 2 games don’t see improvement or pass Bolton on way down.
Agree…tired of same old rhetoric of how were not getting mullered,how wev’e tightened up at the back,how things haven’t gone our way..Blah,Blah……..His signings poor,substitutions unfathomable,play arse numbingly dull,don’t score,hardly look like scoring,Morsey starting for a better side,Gomez sat on his arse,Grigg face like a walloped arse yesterday (rightly so).As for passing us to death ,1 effort on goal in 90 mins yesterday,same at Preston and nearly every game so far. ? Here we go again……..remember that “too good to go down ” cat crap….Wakey Wakey it’s a lie. 2 games at most for me and that’s being generous….don’t think all is hunky Dory amongst the players if the jungle drums are to be heeded,the trap door is getting oiled.
How crap we are came home to roost for me after Preston…..fluke goal granted but we had 80 odd minutes to put it right with tons of possession ……..and created sod all…….
Totally agree……the positive posse quoted before today unbeaten in 4……How’s about 1 goal in 4!!…Do we look at bottom 3 team ??? Absolutely. 14 games in and I think GC is no wiser on team selection or tactics as day 1….way too much messing around a sure sign of struggling.
