mutty wish you was heading downwards in a box boring 2hat
Thanks for that John. Sadly (for you), I plan to outlive you, which shouldn’t be too hard.
Why would he leave a team who are now on the up? The only managerial vacancies are for teams who are heading downwards.
Spot on Otter. You and I don’t exactly see eye to eye, but on this one I agree with you and I hope you agree with the rest of this post.
Bullitt arrived on CL after saying that me and others should join him on here for a proper debate (yeah, right!) That was because he’s had his arse kicked around WEP by other posters so many times, he cant sit down for a lifetime. His trolling has resulted in him being banned more times than Julian Dicks (yet surfaces again with a new ID but the same garbage), the comments boards being all but closed down, and even then he resorts to finding one thread and posting links to other pages and repeating the trolling procedure. If anyone tells him he’s a nob, then he gets his fake friends to log in rapidly and trigger a removal of the comment by reporting a personal attack.
Like you, Ive noticed his arrival on here, and Ive also noticed that none of his posts add any value – they are all swipes at Wigan Warriors. I get it that some of you cant let go of some comment by one individual over 30 years ago – that’s your right to hold a grudge. I suppose Nelson Mandela once thought that if he got out of jail he’d make those white bastards suffer. Thankfully he decided to rise above it to become an international statesman.
Like all trolls, he is a coward. He was happy to let Trev take many personal attacks, and even Garswood Latic and never came out to defend their case. I was particularly annoyed by the cowardly way he let GL’s name be dragged into this “Troll Hunting” that was going on over there. If I were you, I’d publish his bloody name so that everyone knows who the cowardly troll is.
Personally I just ignore Bullitt now as he is just a sad and bitter individual who is an oxygen thief – I do find it quite amusing though that he has now taken to the WEP to accuse every ID that isn’t him of being me!
Just a thought like but how’s about both clubs offering free admission to season ticket holders of the other team, might go some way to mending relations between fans.
(Puts tin hat on and awaits flak)No thanks, anyroad i don’t have a pair of rose tinted glasses![/quote]
The idea was aimed at ST Holders. You were outed as a non-ST holder a few weeks ago when having a rant on the WEP about how you’d paid £20 for a seat to watch an awful performance against Blackpool. Cant remember whether you were masquerading at that time as Sir Masher Johnnie, Victory Vee, Stey or Ronnie. The names become a bit of a blur when the same claptrap is written.
I don’t need multi-alias IDs to pretend someone agrees with me – I prefer to argue my point based on facts in an adult way and stick to the same ID.
Its clear why Mr Lenagan & Mr Whelan are very rich and very successful businessmen and you are not – they work together to find a mutually agreeable solution when confronted by a situation not of their making.
Lose the big chips – its not the 1980s any more.
The only ones who are moaning are those who rely on public transport to get home which may not be as frequent as it is on a regular Friday night. Perhaps the Hull KR fans aren’t happy, but they don’t travel in huge numbers any more, so that would only affect around 100.
For the majority of Warriors fans, 8pm is a great time to play – spend the BH with the family doing something and then off to the rugby for the evening.
The Stadium Management should be commended for their ability to put on two sporting events in such a short space of time. I hope their efforts are rewarded by large numbers turning up to support both games.
Wonder how many Wigan RL fans can claim to be born within the Wigan post code ?
Me for one, and I suspect if you did any detailed research you’ll find that the vast majority were born in this area. But then again, as there isn’t a SL club due north of Wigan and a professional club in Lancashire, so why shouldn’t someone who lives in Preston, Blackpool, Blackburn etc not follow Wigan Warriors?
As for different club shirts at a WCC game – why not? Just like the magic weekend and the cup final, these sort of events are for the whole of the rugby following community, not just the followers of the two clubs involved. I think its a great advert for the sport to see 19,000 turn up and sit next to each other in a vast array of club shirts without having the urge to beat the crap out of each other.
We went 2nd today. Lets concentrate on that! This.
Some folk would rather fill a box of Kleenex over the Warriors losing a friendly match than celebrate their own side’s success.
The thread was on topic until 4:17pm when the multi-ID troll who uses the ID Bullitt on here felt compelled to take a swipe at Wigan Warriors. He had to do it there because the warrior stories are locked. In fact, he even used an article on a motorway crash to have a dig at the Warriors.
Sad Sad Troll.
I’m sorry some people chose to name you personally and believe that was out of order.
As GL will testify, I was the one who jumped to his defence when someone suggested it could be him. I did that because whilst I may not always agree with his views, I believe he has every right to say them as long as they are said with a decorum of respect for the audience it is aimed at. He argues his position in an adult manner.
Had your anti-Warriors rhetoric on here over the years shown a flickering of respect for someone else’s point of view, then I may have done likewise for you.
Germany has quite a long winter break of around 5 weeks. Teams go to Dubai or other places for training camps and do end up playing friendly games. The German top flight clubs only play 34 league games and there is only one domestic cup competition, where the winners will play six games (no replays), making an absolute maximum of 40 games per season for a club side, which is the absolute minimum for a Premier League side who get knocked out at the first stage of both cup competitions.
I don’t think you can stop teams going for warm weather training during a winter breaks.I agree, and wouldn’t be opposed to any “behind closed doors” practice matches in warm weather places. In fact, just about every PL club who isn’t involved in the FA Cup or Europe has spent the last week in just such a camp.
However, I believe that unless it is stipulated that no matches where spectators can attend, then certain clubs will take advantage of any “break” and fit in a mid-season tour to go along with their pre-season and post-season tours.
17 February 2016 at 11:55 am in reply to: Our beloved FA Cup facing being de-valued even mor #147266A winter break would be a good idea, but the word “break” is key. I would expect every club to abide by that word and not jet off to play in some mini-tournament in the southern hemisphere, which is what will happen if it is not rigidly enforced.
Any player who plays in any overseas match during a break should automatically be banned for the length of the break upon recommencement of fixtures. So if Chelsea jet off to Australia and play a “friendly” during a 3 week break, everyone who plays will be banned from domestic games for 3 weeks from the cessation of the break.
Using your theory, the 7000 remaining Latics fans that didn’t go to Southport, or the 7500 that didn’t go to Altringham are equally as hypocritical? What about the 18000 that made the trips to Wembley & the Millenium stadium but cant find their way to the DW – are they hypocrites too?
Non Football Stuff thread this, stay on topic or do one!Hide & Seek is non-football. The search for the missing 18,000 is a non-football related item, because the missing 18,000 are not present at a football game in the WN postal area.
So you agree that the gravy stained lardies are hypocrites? Glad we’ve got that cleared up!Err, no. I said “Using your theory..”
It seems you need to learn to read whole sentences as well as brushing up on your grammar – your trademark misuse of “where” and “were” from your multi-ID, multi-banned WEP posts have cropped up on CL too!
At least your log-in here will last a bit longer than your previous 5 or 6, now you have retreated to fortress CL, where your anti-rugby views from the 1980s are celebrated.
How about logging in as Ronnie, Oh When the Saints, M62 is my world etc on here to generate your own Karma. Or even go the whole WEP hog experience and have a chat amongst yourself using all the IDs.
