I always thought that Warriors fans were ok and most I would imagine are indeed. The ones I was amongst let the club down badly.
I suspect the ones you came across haven’t set foot in the DW for a long time and used the event as an excuse to get tanked up – if they needed an excuse.
The proper fans were at Old Trafford.
It also portrays the journo as someone who really should have done his homework before looking for someone to blame for English RU’s epic failure. Not knowing Bradford, Sheffield, Salford & London are cities in England is pretty basic stuff!
At least she was when we were making Finals and Semi Finals at WembleyDon’t think she went Crewe t’other neet
Her – and 24,500 others.
Why Carlisle. I thought he could go on a free to Burnley, or at least that what he tells Sean Dyche around 30 secs from the end of this…

It’d be much more interesting if Donald Trump joined the board.
Latics attendance of 7991 was the highest League one attendance of the night, and there was a full fixture list.
It’s a good few years since that happened.I suppose it helps when Sheff Utd, Bradford, Millwall & Swindon were all away. Coventry & Barnsley didn’t play.
The niceties of a run in a minor competition are far outweighed by the requirement for the additional revenue of being in a higher league. Getting out of the 3rd division is the No 1 priority, and I would expect GC to play his best XI in every league game until that is achieved.
Let those who are on the fringes play in the cup competitions and prove they are worthy of a pace in the first team.
I know. Now I explained it in simplistic terms, I bet you wish you had kept quiet.
Err, because the international striker is more likely to shoot on target and work the goalkeeper, because they are top players. The 3rd rate bloke is more likely to shoot off target, which renders the standard of keeper irrelevant. That’s why they are plodding around in the 3rd division.
I would have thought that would have been obvious to such an intelligent specimen as you….
Applauding rank bad defending and cheating. Stay classy fat man.
I’m a great believer in letting one on ones go as the amount of times the attacker misses is far more than they score. You have a point there. It wasn’t Luis Suarez or Sergio Aguero bearing down on goal, it was a Port Vale striker. The odds on 3rd division strikers sticking them away when one-on-one is a lot higher than your multi-million pound internationals.
Port Vale have a rather well known fan, a certain Robbie Williams. Have Wigan got any such famous fans?Sir Bradley Wiggins.
What the hell was the “music” as the players were coming back on after half time. It sounded like a farting competition.Perhaps it was a farting competition:
