Gawd this is difficult so ill go with either Peter Houghton v Villa (league cup) or Henry Camara v Sunderland

in reply to: Rooney to quit #49118

Me,being an owd cynic thinks its all a load of crap and ill believe it when he actually goes. Before this Rooney story broke the only topic in all the papers and on tv had been Liverpool for weeks on end. Now we all know Utd believe they are the only club on the planet and it must have been hell to think Liverpool were getting blanket coverage so my theory is this Rooney thing is yet another Man U propaganda ruse. Dont be surprised if Fergy and Shrek kiss and make up and they announce their refound undying love for each other. I may be totally wrong and he may never play for them again but we will see.

in reply to: SAFE STANDING #45789

You cannot have safe standing at the DW or at most other modern stadiums. The reason being is that when new stadiums were built as all seaters the terracing had to be a lot steeper and higher to take the seats so that your view was not restricted by the person sat in front of you. Anyone who has been to Villa and sat behind the goal will tell you that the view is pathetic as they put seating on the original terracing designed for standing. You would not be able to put adequate crush barriers in and you would never get past the health and safety issue. Whether we could fill the corners in with proper standing terrace is maybe the answer otherwise to have a standing area at the DW will undoubtably take major redesign and building work to one of the existing stands.

Why chill James marrer? he doesnt want to be here. I imagine his agent is totally knackered tonight from trying to get him out of here. I want players to be committed like they showed on Saturday now this joker will continue to pick up his 40k a week till Jan then we will hear his desires to leave again.

    in reply to: charles… #44955

Im sorry guys but im pi$$ed off he,s still at the club. Yes I know how good he can be and that he is one of our best players but the contempt he has shown Wigan Athletic is unforgivable. The greedy kermit will be gone in Jan as soon as he can find someone willing to pay him the extortion fee. Im sorry i feel this way but the only reason he is still here is coz Brum saw through his over inflated ego.

in reply to: Tom Cleverley #44738

Looks like it could actually happen boys.

in reply to: One Day Left Conspiracy…… #44736

The Kermit is on 40k a week and doesnt want to play for us anymore so get rid and if its to join owd flat nose then i hope they will be very happy together.

hope the prick trips over his wallet and breaks his fu..ing leg

in reply to: Transfer falls through #44379

Surely this is bad news for the club, the window closes Tues so if he ends up going somewhere else it will take longer to go thru so we have less time to replace him I wouldnt play him tomorrow if he is available anyway coz he dont want to be here so let him swivel.Moses could knock the kermit into a cocked hat with the right coaching and he wouldnt moan like the foreign gets so let him go.
