Decisions are not going our way at the moment and I think we were robbed in that Portsmouth game last week but I am starting to look at these players and ask are they really up to it. OK ,a soft penalty but it was in the ninth minute plenty of time to turn it around. Instead we get Lang , who has only himself to blame gets sent off and then it’s an uphill battle. They get a man sent out off and we still can’t really impose ourselves on the game. We need to go back to the drawing board , stop thinking the whole world is against us , start taking these games by the scruff of the neck and win the arm wrestle that most of these Division One games are.
Not really, Callum Lang has completely lost his way he needs to seriously look at his attitude , he is offering nothing at the moment. General lack of discipline throughout the team is costing us. Massive improvement needed .
Playing Burton Albion away on a Tuesday night in October seems a million miles away from beating Bolton and Derby away in August. We badly need two or three old pros to help our young lads. Could do with Max Power back in midfield. Limited ability but a pain in the arse to play against at this level, James McClean also put the fear of God into opponents. It’s something we don’t have at the moment , we are too easy to play against. Just hope Sean can get it right. Still early days ,plenty of time to put things right !
The foul on Smith was the one for me. It wasn’t even contentious ,the ref was right near it how could he not give a free kick. Instead of us having a goal scoring opportunity they went up the other end and scored. It’s kind of acceptable when a ref is equally as bad for both sides but this fella was like a twelfth man for them. Hope someone can compile some of the poor decision highlights and send it to the EFL. On second thoughts maybe not they will only thank him for a job well done !
Sold out in an hour, I know we will lose money but I really hope we return the favour and give them 2,000 tickets for the return game at the DW.
The lad Smith in midfield looks a real find ,quality on the ball. Hughes ,excellent at the back . Overall a well deserved win ,although definitely a work in progress. How good was it to see that goal from Callum McManaman ,brilliant !

You are talking complete and utter Bollox and it’s you more than anyone else who is trying to stir up rivalry between the two clubs.
Mutty , this is a forum for Wigan Athletic fans who are obviously biased towards their own club. You have been tolerated on here and I have enjoyed and sometimes joined in with your comments. However , recently the tone of some of posts both on here and on Vital has been to provoke and cause trouble. I don’t know what your motives are but it’s probably just as well you leave us alone .
Must admit I have to think twice before posting on here due to this clown. His sole intention is to cause trouble. This forum should be for fans of Wigan Athletic not a pretend Sunderland / Warrior fan. How many Latics fans are on the Warriors forum stirring up trouble , I don’t think there are any .That tells you everything !
