I am a member of the supporters club, but don’t always get the opportunity to go before every game.
It was only by going before the Brighton game that I found out about the Ben Watson pics, but I’d really like the opportunity for my son to get a pic with the cup if possible.
Any help would be great, didn’t really want to trigger a debate
Thanks
I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of rotation in the starting lineup. I would have loved to see Dicko, Espinoza, Gomez etc in the lineup because of the friendlies. We’ve got the squad to do it, so I don’t see why not play McMAnaman from the start and take him off at half time if he’s not fit to play a full game yet.
Even though there are a lot of haters, Gomez’s creativity has been missing and he’d be far more effective against weaker defences and midfields. Off the top of my head, I think he scored about 15 in the championship with Swansea – and despite everything, he chipped in with some class and important goals in the Prem too
Betting odds dropped from 12/1 to 9/1 to win the league off the back of that result. From 6th to 4th favourites
Although sky bet have suspended betting on him signing

Cheers Jay, first time I’ve been more excited than my kids at a primary school fair!
Oh yeah, because he’s never done anything for the club
Bloody grow up and support your team
I’m not moving to Milton Keynes
This thread has got me thinking (other than what a moaning bunch of supporters we have) about where we’ve been to where we are now.
If you take our normal starting 11 (maybe include Alcaraz instead of Ramis or whatever), who would you replace in January if you were manager – a like for like swap? Maybe even which Premier league era former player would you replace them with? I mean like for like, not replacing Beasejour & Boyce with N’zogbia & Valencia for example!
Even though things don’t always go our way, I think the team has a great balance to it and we have been majorly unlucky on several occasions (Sunderland for example).
If we played Tuesday’s game 99 more times with the same players, we would probably win comfortably. These things happen.
I may be berated for blindly following Martinez, but I honestly believe we will come good
Didn’t fancy us today but I thought we were superb. Totally dominated the game from start to finish. Allardyce can whine all he wants about an apparent push for the first goal (I didn’t see one) and it all being about them but deep down I think he’ll know they were outclassed.Interesting how differently people see the same game. Even the media aren’t sure. BBC have us down as having 17 shots to their 15, whilst Sky have us at 15 each.

Would never have said they had 15 shots.
I usually look up a couple of different write-ups when we win (less so when we lose), and the daily mail have mainly gone on about how bad West Ham were. The Independant however, have written an excellent article about our attractive attacking brand of football, so check that out if you get the chance
Tuesday’s game is League CupI know it is, but I was presumptuous in thinking that the fringe players would continue their excellent cup run and get through to the quarter finals and beyond. Then at the turn of the year, they will continue to do us proud in the FA cup, and contribute more in the first team when the first eleven can’t start every week due to fatigue/injuries etc
I’m probably getting ahead of myself like, and it’s not always easy to communicate exactly what you mean when typing instead of speaking!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m immensely impressed with how Di Santo has been the back end of last season through to now – he’s definitely our most improved player (Cauldwell is up there too). From being a nippy forward that ran about for 90 minutes like a whippet getting a few chances and deflections to being a genuine threat with excellent positioning and finishing, I actually think it’s fantastic that after a few spurned chances we have someone on the bench I’m hoping gets a chance.
It might not be the best starting 11 we’ve ever had (on paper, but on our day we can match the best of them), but the overall squad is pretty impressive – and long may our cup run win the fringe players continue.
Bring on the FA cup!
I got box (or whatever it’s called in one of the suites) tickets given to me for my birthday a few years ago, and I took my six week old son. We got to meet Kirkland after the match, and he had just become a dad again around the same time – so he had his picture taken with him, and as I handed him my son – I just couldn’t resist and said ‘Dont drop him’!

He gave me a smile, but was probably thinking ‘Alright smartarse’!

I was hoping Di Santo was going to make way for Boselli around the 60 minute mark after he wasted 3 chances on the trot and seemed to be running out of ideas. Then he went for that overhead!
Never mind though, he will surely get his chance on Tuesday – and Christmas onwards I think maybe Martinez will use the strength in depth shown with the cup 11’s so far
