Just seen it now on SSN. Bit unfair IMO. I sometimes wonder what chairmen of the smaller teams expect/desire when they get promoted to the PL.

I’m Next you crazy mother plucker :woohoo:

Are we turning into an Leeds and sacking a manager every few weeks when all and sundry can see it’s the bloody players who are the problem

If it is the players who are the problem & it seems most likely it is, only one man can sort out the problem – paul jewell
Paul Jewell FFS…..!

Why does his name crop up every time the manager’s position is being debated? He’s had his time here and took us to the PL for which he should be quite rightly admired and respected. But he left us when the job got too much for him and he’s done bugger all since.

And if you are referring to that incident regarding player power when he first joined the club, if I remember correctly he turned to Whelan to sort that out.
Sammy, my response was merely tongue in cheek. FFS!!

Where’s ramis or rogne or caldwell for that matter

The Leeds game on Friday marks the half way stage of the season, so where will we be in 24 games time.

I really want to say mid-table, which given any previous season in the championship would be deemed pessimistic, but TBH mid-table seems too optimistic this season. Therefore survival seems the more realistic option.

Whelan should get the whole squad together and say ” Right, hands up who wants out of here ” Whoever raises their hand gets dispatched as soon as is possible! The rest then go off with Malky and start a fresh, there have to be some players in our squad willing to bust a gut for the club!

    Good point there phil

Lets see what he can do in january.

Oh, I can – and happily do – take criticism. From people whose opinion matters, that is.

Thing is to be fair griff, EVERYONE’S opinion matters. Tis the beauty of forums to allow people to voice their opinion with regards this football club.

    Certainly not, rest easy! ;)

    Phew!! That’s good to hear

in reply to: Roberto Martinez…. #136614

Well I must say this is an new agenda or is it an new existing one from mard arses

Just ignore ’em mate, and thank your lucky stars you’re not a Preston/Chorley/Leyland knobhead like them. I mean, what the fuck are they expected to know about football anyway, coming from there?
Hope im not being referred to as well in that category sir griff. I am a born & bred wiganer who has just happened to live where i now live for the past 11 years.

in reply to: Roberto Martinez…. #136556

Believes that wigan will now win promotion back to the premier league under malky mckay. Just heard it on BBC manchester.

Roughly translated means: I hope Malky pulls it round and fixes the sh it that I left them in !
When i first read this title i assumed it was referring to that magical day in may 2013.

This 1 up top malarky does not work in this division. I thought this would have been grasped by now. But then, when i saw that at one point we had no strikers on the pitch – now that is a first.

    in reply to: Today #136552

Really, really looking forward to today as it was my first game for 2 months. After that performance i think i will be working a lot more saturdays from now on to avoid that utter garbage. Was this a one off or has it been this poor every week.

At this rate league 1 beckons methinks.

in reply to: C’mon Let’s Be Having You ! #136446

All being well, i will be there on saturday

Ok! Where is the rest of my post that i just posted cos i wrote more than that.

It was basically saying that this saturdays game is my first since early october & i cant wait for it.
It was probably deleted automatically to save everybody the tedium of reading it ;)
To be fair griff it wasnt that tedious a post. I know that things haven’t been going too well for us this season both on & off the pitch, but that aside, this is my first game since early october due to work mainly & i really cant wait to go.
