Playing to our strengths is our puzzle. On goals scored we could have Dunkley at centre forward and Moore at centre back.

With Charlie Mulgrew on left wing

I got the score right as well Vince on Tuesday. As for Saturday it all depends. If cook adopts his usual away day tactics, then prepare for another defeat – a scrappy draw at the very best. However, if he surprises us all & actually goes out to try & win a game of football – well! You just never know!!!!

Some are saying that cook has taken us as far as he can. Out of interest, what exactly can a new manager do with the squad he inherits?

I must admit, I get frustrated with this hoof ball tactic. It’s getting us nowhere.

Admit he’s doing well at home but some of the football was atrocious….Strikers really no hope of netting over 5 goals a season. Some of the worst service from wide I’ve seen us play in years.

Yep! Agree with you on that one.

William’s non effective in holding role ,

Give over! He shows his inexperience at times. But he is very good at breaking up play & creating a chance. He also works very well with morsy.

Massey not good enough against a poor Birmingham side.

Not one of his better games. But lowe was equally as ineffective on the other side.

Away against Wednesday will be a big test…..really do need to change tactics….

Well it’s an away game. So I guess we will all wait with baited breath. Although we probably know the outcome unless he does change tactics.

Cookie looks like he’s improved us from last season. 6 points from the drop. Good lad!

Improved??? That was garbage tonight. The football was dire, boring and unwatchable at times. Grateful for the points but that football was atrocious.
Not the best of games admittedly. But a win is a win – however we achieve it. Whether it’s a good performance a la Charlton, or a scrappy, atrocious performance like tonight. Do you think liverpool fans bemoaned the performance against Sheffield United? No! They admitted it was a scrappy hard fought win – one which they would gladly take. A win is a win.

Cook has to go by Saturday. Shite.

    Too right he does.
Can you please elaborate.

I predict the usual culprits won’t be heard frim until our next defeat

It’ll be quiet on here again – mark II.

The admin team deserve better and more support.

    They do a fantastic job.

It’s always quiet when we have won. Lose a game however, & our usual suspects will be on here with their “ever so predictable & tiresome by now rants.”

It was a great team performance from start to finish. Williams definitely MOM. The way he breaks up play then creates something (even simple) is admirable. A very good signing.
