Top performance. Defence solid. Midfield worked their balls off. Threatened up top. Faith restored.

My faith is always restored. Even when we don’t win a game.

But then again it was Middlesbrough, we’ve best players missing, (yawns at the happy clapping rose tinted specs wearing gang)

But in some respects cup winners, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Plus, we have played some of the better sides who will challenge for promotion fairly recently.

Had walton not spread butter on his hands during half time last week, we would have earned a draw. Undeservedly yes. But it would have still been a point.

Now i need to get back to work & the next chance i get, quite happilly clap my hands. ;)

If I was Powell I’d be off, impressed with Leeds quicker fitter and by far the best team we’ve played this season but Naismith Garner useless what summed it up for me was that second half, Windarse broke every leeds player ran back apart from the one injured in our half not one latics player crossed the half way line to join him, yet all the leeds players all got back, very disheartening today 5 points off the bottom 3 or 10 points off top spot.

I agree grumps. That moment was very frustrating.

As for your last sentence. We are mid-table & i honestly would be happy with that.

Leeds were a very decent team IMO, whilst we were pish poor. I agree, we could have scraped a draw. But defensive errors badly cost us.

The end of a wonderful and fantastic era.

All good things must come to an end, but its now onto another fantastic era for the club (fingers & toes crossed).

It really makes me quite emotional to think the Whelan family will no longer have anything to do with us.
That is a great letter and I bet it took a few drafts to get it right, how Big Dave and especially Sharpey must be feeling right now, we’ll never know.
I hope he shows his face and carries on supporting us.
We’ve had some brilliant times over the last 23 years, lets just hope the next 23 bring some more.
Good luck to Sharpey in whatever he does and a great big thank you to the whole Whelan Family for what they have done for this great club of ours.
    Cheers for everything.

If we do another 23 years, how old are we gonna be ? We’ll be chunnering on about how we won the FA Cup in 2013. Right owld farts ![/quote]

Sack him. At this stage of the season i was 3rd on FIFA playing 442 with Callum playing, no loanees and Nick Powell playing every game and the full 90.

    It just isnt good enough.

    Haha!
