The problem last time was bad managers more than the players mainly WJ
Totally agree with that. Caldwell went mega defensive for some reason. & the least we say about joyce the better.
I would have preferred the mike flowerpops version.
I dont mind either way. Its my long weekend off so can go any day/time etc.
I have booked leave however, for the semi final just in case.
Win all 3 games in hand would put us top by a few points.
Would be nice to be 2 times winners of the cup.
However promotion or league 1 title adds another honour to our ever growing list of honours & that was our main aim this season. So it has to be promotion.
I personally wouldnt mind a wembley semi final & have booked leave in work just in case. Should we get to the final, i’m off anyway.
I’ll take a pop & go for sunday lunchtime on MOTD.
Well if that City win doesn’t convince the those in HK to take over the club nothing will. Lots of clubs just hover around season after season doing sod all but with at least with Latics you get a full roller coaster ride with huge lows and ultra massive highs.Thats the beauty of supporting latics.
Well then….Details may have not been quite right, but the main thing was.
I knew. We just had to forget them and concentrate on our own game, and we did just that.
Every man an emperor in our team tonight.
You almost got it spot on vat. Swap kompany’s red card for delph & swap goal on 75 mins for 79 mins.
I said on the way home, that that win was better than the FA cup final in a strange kind of way.
I’ll go for 21,800
What minute will the boos start?Who for? Us or city??
City will totally dominate the game & batter us without scoring. We’ll get a last minute corner or free-kick & score from it.
I wouldn’t normally link anything to the Mail, but this is actually not a bad readJust read it & have to admit, it is a good read. Like the bit about roberto acting as a scout for us. Not sure of his assessment on massey however!
Yes i am indeed worried mr garswood for reasons i posted earlier.
And what worries me the most, is the gloating look on the faces of not just the rugby fans, but of those “wigan born” fans who choose to support the bigger clubs when the club is in the mire. Both sets of people would happily take great pride in seeing the demise of the towns football club.
I remember all too well when folk walked around springfield park with buckets.
