dunno why your all winging like women if rooney or wilshire score the winning goal in a world cup final be a totally different story
You mean in the same way Jordi Gomez was after his hat-trick against Reading?
Rooney was so good at 17/18 I thought he would develop into a far better player than he has. By better I mean on a par with the likes of Messi and Ronaldo.
Wilshere I’m not so sure about so he’ll probably prove me wrong.
Yes, and if you write gullible backwards it spells retard, true story. You’re going to get yourself reported again.
Tough to pick just one really but the first one that has popped into my head is JORDAN HENDERSON.A terrible player who somehow managed to con Liverpool out of a massive transfer fee. You can really see how far they’ve fallen as a club when they’re spending money on this guy.
Good goal today from him granted, but one swallow doesn’t make a summer.
I can think of another player who conned them even more.
Jack Wilkshire is definitely overrated.
The word gullible doesn’t appear in the Oxford English Dictionary. True story.
Last home game before Wembley and very winnable. The players know they’re playing for their Wembley places these next 2 games so no excuses for lack of effort
On paper all the others around us have tough games, time to make inroads.
Drawbacks…
1. We’ve never beaten Norwich in t’league
2. Lawrenson tips us to win
3. The pitch will be riddled with egg divets :evil:I’m going 2-0 ‘Tics.
4. We always underperform after an international break.
I hope to be proved wrong!
What does everybody mean; media over-reaction? The BBC have only released 7 (seven) news stories about the tackle…It was a red card though…..!
Matter closed.
After viewing the above replay, we’ll have to agree to disagree on that, Sammy. I think the FA saw it how I have said.
I don’t think the FA did see it as you say.
They said that one of the officials had seen the “coming together” and had decided not to take any action. That does not mean the FA agreed with that decision.
They do have the power to review incidents again and apply retrospective action if they think the officials got it badly wrong at the time. However, in this instance they said that the challenge didn’t meet that criteria.
Probably because of the factors I pointed out in the above post.
So to follow your argument through are you saying that if the referee had show a red card and the club has appealed it, it would have been rescinded? After viewing the above replay, we’ll have to agree to disagree on that, Sammy. They do have the power to review incidents again and apply retrospective action if they think the officials got it badly wrong at the time. However, in this instance they said that the challenge didn’t meet that criteria. The outcome of no charge or action WAS the correct one. Perhaps McManaman, a player making his first league start, was a little ‘over enthusiastic’? But nothing else. That challenge was a red card offence and we got away with one.
However, the overreaction to it from the media was totally out of order.England always perform like a random collection of indviduals put together in a team that hardly ever plays.
Which is what they are.
What really pisses me off the most in all this is that while our player is being vilified by all and sundry, the player who committed arguably the worst premeditated tackle of all time is being paid thousands by ITV as a match summariser.Last week on MOTD3 – the “lets have a light hearted-look at the weekends events” show from the BBC website – both Lawrenson and Nevin were asked about the bad tackles they had made during their careers. So they reeled off their own stories with Pat Nevin actually admitting to deliberately trying to “do” somebody in a game. This after condemning McManaman for his challenge. Hypocrisy at its finest.
as Newcastle have said they’ll pay for the broken nets and stuff I have desidid too claim for the pansies. Dear Newcastle, I’ve heard that you have paid out cos your Geordies broke some nets and stuff, the week before I woke up to find that somebody had squashed my pansies, they were ruined, my wife and kids were very upset, as we were planning a trip to watch latics away in Serbia next season and now we’ll be four qiud short, it was obviously your Geordies, as the neighbours said the thugs had welsh accents. Can you please send me four qiud as soon as possible please before the pansy sale at b and q finishes otherwise you’ll have to send me six qiud. Well talk about my broken windows and car when I have finished planting my new pansies. Thank you, Sudworth.
