Why is there a limit when Blackpool fans who are protesting with good reason and boycotting games?. Most of the ground will be empty so why not get as much revenue as you can from away fans. I,ve not looked at what they have been averaging for home games but it is a good size stadium which should be more than adequate to supply demands for away allocations.
They don’t want away fans outnumbering home fans.
They don’t care about the money as they have asset stripped it anyway (Whelan haters take note of what it is really like to have someone who is pocketing the money)First dabs on tickets for fans in receipt of a ticket for The Chekatrade Trophy match earlier in the season second dabs to fans who were at The League cup home game.I tick both those boxes, but I’ll be in Switzerland watching the Zurich derby, so that’s one more available.
I do wonder actually why we need an offside law at all.
It was originally introduced to prevent goal-hanging (remember back to schoold days – the most hated kid would always goal hang, tap in, and claim credit).
But in the modern game a goal hanger is way, way out of influencing the game, and so most offside calls are a fine judgement of a yard or so this way or that. What does it matter?
Get rid of it.His squad just missed out on promotion and reached a cup semi-final too. That wasn’t all down to Uwe.
Yes indeed, it was coyle’s squad that uwe took to both an FA cup & play-off semi final, but i firmly believe that coyle would not have got anywhere near both had he have remained in charge.[/quote]
We were seriously struggling when Uwe took over.
That’s why Coyle was sacked. He ceratinly hadn’t built any sound foundations. And did same morsy not score a injury time goal?Football refereeing is the the only occupation you can be persistently poor at you job and not face any sort of disciplinary.
Not true that. Lots of referees are demoted, and if you get demoted from the Select Group, which is full-time professional, then effectively you have lost your job.
Not happy till they’re moaning, NL.
Shame you weren’t at Peterborough yesterday Bullshit- you could have taken the piss out of me in person rather than hiding behind a keyboard.Really nice to finally meet you yesterday, in the Wigan end supporting Latics, along with a couple of other members of this board who also met you in the flesh as it were.
This is the instant he connects with the ball.Surely you can’t still say this ball is anything other a couple of inches off the ground?
Even if that’s the case it’s in a line with his standing foot, which is on the line.

I saw it too. Thought about posting about it.
And then realised that he is a sad man who is trying to deflect from his own team’s lack of success, and covering his back for a loss in the cup.
So I decided to ignore it.
We are where we are. The sound bites of Pochettino are irrelevant to me.I’m not.
I have a Chesterfield supporting friend and so have followed for a while. He had completely lost support, pretty much for the same reasons as here: inflexible, boring, slow play with players who weren’t up to it, and who would be better being coached to boot to row Z when necessary. The booing could have been prevented if the fans had been updated on the situation with Power. What you have said Vat is new to me. I had no idea any of the problem was from third party advice. Likewise I had no idea that a line had been drawn under the events. I just thought he was just back in the squad with us being short of first choice players.
Like I said a big headline in the press saying Power had kissed and made up and sacked his agent and this situation could have been avoided.“Both chairman David Sharpe and manager Paul Cook have suggested the fault for the request to speak to any interested Championship clubs lay with the player’s agent rather than Power himself.”
Excellent.
He has been a new player this season – obviously Cook knows how to use himWere you able to watch the match?
Did you see what was going on?
What equipment they have is irrelevant, unless you sell projection equipment on a commission basis. -
