We’d be better off with his daughter, Fern.

Mind you, he might help balance the books ;)

(Was he the chancellor? :? )

Were you not thinking of Hitler? I’m sure he was a chancellor of some sort.

thats ok then jay he wont be going missing here,we’ll just send a posse down king street on a friday night he’ll be dead easy to find, and then on monday mornings he’ll be in the queue outside the doctors waiting for his sick note with all the others who have been on the razz all weekend.

quite well thought out signing this one

does anyone think it could be worth a punt bringing zaki back to keep him company.

Was that almost praise for Martinez?

    Ah – Zaki…no it wasn’t.

He looks bloody good from this montage. He reminds me of a young Sol Campbell.

Quickly put your hands over your ears and repeat ‘4-5-1, passing football works, 4-5-1, passing football works….’

From the other archived articles it seems that he fell out with the coach and had just been biding his time until his contract expired. Might be a bit of a trouble maker, but so was Chimbonda, and we had a good season out of him.

It’s only until the end of the season, and I doubt him being on a massive salary, so it’s probably a case of him proving he’s good enough for a long term contract.

Christ, they kept that one quiet.

Here you go folks, it appears that Bruce was the one first linked with him a couple of years back:

Also, he’s French born, so that would suggest a French passport, hence no work permit required.

That’s poor Dave, very very poor!

Brown anyday for me, Thomas is not really good, thomas doesnt get on players case as mch as browny did he tackles them when they run at him, Brown had the bite we needed (as did Cattermole) and would take him back anyday, Thomas isn’t that good, not saying he wont be but Diame is the better of the 2 in our centre mid.

Thomas doesn’t get on players’ backs because he doesn’t speak English! He has a right go at the Spanish speaking players.

Brown couldn’t/ can’t pass, and if you’re trying to play a passing game, that’s a bit of a disadvantage.

20 grand a week for four and a half years. That’s some deal for him. Safe to say he’ll be starting from the off so Boyce to right-back and Melchiot off?

I think it will be more a case of Boyce off.

…but all good things must come to an end.

Its obvious that whelan as changed his approach to Wigan Athletic, maybe we should change our expectations to suit?

You never know, you moaning c*£ts might start enjoying it abit more.

Nah….they’ll still find something to moan about.

I’m at the stage where mine need a thick comb in a morning.

Genius. The England team need more Catholic players, there’s the answer.
