The wider issue for me is using technology to help the officials. How exactly it would work God knows, but it’s wrong that everyone watching on TV can see a decision is wrong, but it cannot be corrected.
Game is too fast flowing. The goal technology works as its on a watch and is live but penalty decisions wouldn’t be. The ref would have to give it and then watch it back why everyone complains; but then how do you restart play if it wasnt a dive and was just a bad call?
People didnt like Paul Jewell at the start as the squad he inherited was poor, look how that turned out.
What do we class as a recognised striker? The Manager believes Yanic to be a striker so does that make him a recognised striker?Is Wayne Rooney a striker or an attacking midfielder? Is Ronaldo better on the right or the left?
Yanic is never a striker in memory of man. His shooting is terrible.
Just like the camera never lies, the stats don’t either! Some of the attempts ( I use that word very loosely! ) on goal that I have seen have been laughable for professional footballers. Jacobs is the worst offender for poor shooting!He hits the corner flag more often than not

The onus is on not to concede. As the game kicks off both teams have a point so have something to protect. It has been argued that no points should be awarded for a nil-nil draw which would most definitely put the onus on teams to attack and go for goals rather than “parking the bus”.[/quote]

Believe me JR fans like Lostock are true blue and breathe WAFC and for 99% of the time are like yourself and would not even criticise the club so for Lostock and others saying this the tether is very much at the end with how we play the game.Really?
