Well done to Sunderland, but I wouldn’t swap a win tonight over finishing above them in the league.
If Derby can’t pay the wages is it a breach of contract and players can just walk away fee agent?
If they don’t pay them for 2 consecutive months yes.
Thoughts with them, horrible situation , chasing the dream of the premier league is very expensive and failure commonplace.
The parachute payments ensure its an even tougher task now .
Good luck to their supporters in the struggle ahead.This is the big thing, and the lack of FFP between divisions makes it worse. Owners will risk overspending to gain promotion and then the fans suffer when it goes wrong.
I’m still very bitter about our treatment and still suspect EFL corruption was involved.
As for Derby, as ever it’s the fans who suffer the most, but I still think they’ll get off lightly for club that has broken rules.

I wouldn’t wish administration on anyone (aside from one club) it’s horrible.
I agree, but I’ve never thought of throwing something other than the v sign at a player that does that.
Let’s not give people who throw things at players an excuse.
There is literally no way to avoid the 12 points for administration unless they win an appeal and the line used to uphold ours is the same for all situations.
Because of this though, I feel they will get away with any further sanction (similar to Bolton) and rather than get 20+ they’ll just get 12 and all will be forgotten.
Think we have goals all over the team personally. Lang, Keane, McClean, Humphrys.
I think Wyke will get more chances once we settle on our best 11, which I presume will inude 2 wide men considering how many we signed.
Personally….I’d be happy with posters from all clubs but that is JayT’s decision to make.

It won’t ever be an issue so isn’t something I’ve ever thought about.
Latics have probably given me more joy because their achievements far outweigh the rugbys and always will, and the last 2 years has given me more sleepless nights and stress than I’d have liked.
I truly don’t have a favourite though. In an ideal world the cup wins of 2013 would be the norm and Wigan would be the sporting capital of the world.
