Just glad to be in the mix and really looking forward to the new season. Consolidation will do for Me in what looks like an extremely tough looking league.
I would take championship mid-table every season as a fan. Great league to be in.
Not sure I get where / when or who decides VAR is needed. Serbia had a stone wall pen waved away tonight with not one but two players bear hugging mitrovic to the floor..
I just don’t get why refs or VAR are not giving pens for this, it’s friggin ridiculous.I am under the impression that the VAR advise the ref to look and then it is his decision as to whether he does and whether he changes his mind. I like that idea if that is right tbh.

Modern day fans have no reason to hate one anothercertainly from a Latics point of view other than to try and prove how big a fan they are to their mates.
He hasn’t actually done anything that breaks any of the rules we moderate the board by so hasn’t done anything to warrant a ban or exclusion.
We certainly don’t want to run the board in the same way some rugby boards are run whereby anything negative said about the club results in a ban (we would have no posters if we did that) or that any rugby fan or fan of another club who dare question the club are banned.
I think everyone would prefer it if he didn’t revert to his constant sh!t stirring competitions but he isn’t alone in that either.

Very true, but as with every division there will be teams that are far stronger than others.
We are basically playing 3 of the predicted top 6 in our opening 4 games. Be like playing Utd, City and Liverpool when you’d rather play Bournemouth, Watford and Palace.

What have you been smoking Vat? QFs is the best we can hope for I think, BUT if we stick with the squad, manager and bring the right players in at the right time we have the makings of a good future as the 21s, 19s and 17s have shown. Too trigger happy with players and managers though us.
