I agree we have to support Joyce and not sack him but I think the panic button will be hit if we struggling at the end of Feb. The club can’t afford to go down again.
No, not much chance of houses there. Who actually owns the site? Is it one of the Whelan Family companies or Latics. If it belonged to one of the other companies then they would have developed it then rented it to us a bit like Euxton or the stadium although that is a company with our name on it but a different one to the football side of things even though it was the football side of things that put in money from the sale of Springfield Park and attracted grants. However the development was mothballed after relegation from the Premium so it would have been money from us that was to have developed it. All sounds like money just swishing around in all sorts of company names so how about a bit more going into a transfer kitty.That’s exactly what it is, but that money is our future. The rainy day fund if you will.
I stood by Caldwell and his decisions in the summer because you have to trust a guy who sees the said players every day above us fans and our opinions, but some of them seem pretty idiotic about now but there is nothing we can do until the window.
I think if a new Manager comes in and you see a vast improvement then you can blame the previous boss, but if things carry on then surely it’s the players!!!

Great post Donny. I’ve always said that I’d much rather BOTH clubs took how ever long it took to improve their ground as opposed to leave. Similar to Blackpool. Yes Latics have had their greatest days at The JJB/DW but it will never be home.
