Two faced Cnut. Thought you were never going while he was in charge ??? Making yourself look a bigger fool than normal mate.
In defence of everyones favourite Leyther, he hasn’t been yet. ;)
Relegation clauses – paras 2 and 3:
“The Spaniard says he has a relegation clause in the contract he signed last summer, adding it’s only fair his wages drop in line with his players if the Latics go down.
He said: “There are relegation clauses in all of the contracts. I have one too. It’s about having a sound financial plan and if you drop your league status, you’re dropping your budget. Everyone should be affected.”

It just show what a two faced lying cheat Martinez is, coming our with all that “WE” stuff when he had already agreed to move to Everton.
Before anyone disputes that statement, the Spurs game was on the 27th April over a week after Martinez had held talks with Everton and agreed a deal.
Have I missed something? Where has this deal agreed in April come from?
Even the groundstaff had a relegation clause in their contract.
Manager signs players from former club shock.
In other news, the sun is hot.
Moses would be stupid to leave Chelsea. Unless JM has told him he isn’t wanted.
I think we need to wait until after xmas to really see our chances because of Europe. If we’re in with a shot at the turn of the year, we’ll go up.
I wonder if Dicko will play a more prominent part next season.I would expect so after good shows at Blackpool.
Good signing in my book as the rest have been. Think we need at least 1 more striker though but will be interesting to see how he uses Maloney and McManaman having signed 2 front men.
True Standish. Been to Ibrox too. Rangers 1 The mighty Inverness 1.
My reasons for not wanting Murray to win are simple.
Watch the SSN clip fromhis local tennis club in Dunblane. Watch his homecoming after winning Olympic hold last year. Tell me how many Scottish flags you see and how many British flags you see. Did everyone wave English flags when Henman played? The Scots want independance and so do I. I’m English.
No they’ll still be 6. Unless of course we bounce back this year and suddenly become a bigger club than all of those and beat them regularly but even then it was a massive achievement that will always stick with me. Similar to when we were lower league and beat bigger clubs. Just because we ended up in the Premier League doesn’t make those feats any less enjoyable.
Exactly 35. There will always be people who moan and complain and hit the panic button and there’ll always be people who blindly support the club no matter what.
Martinez was far from perfect but he’s given us some great memories and I’m sure Owen Coyle will do the same.
For the record (in chronological order)
Seeing us promoted to the Premier League
Seeing us beat Everton away
Seeing us beat Arsenal in the League Cup and reach CardiffEmile Heskey’s goal at Chelsea that cost them the title and kept us up
Beating Liverpool
Beating Arsenal
Beating Man Utd
The Great Escape
Making the FA Cup final
Winning the FA Cup finalPersonally if I was to name my top 10 WAFC moments from the last 10 years then 6 are with Martinez at the helm.
Then you are not old enough lad, extend WAFC moments over the last 40 years and then see
Apologies for only being 26 and only watching us since 1994. However, when I sit my children down in x amount of years and teach them about WAFC then I would imagine that “We beat Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea and won the FA Cup against Man City” will be where my focus mainly lies as opposed to “I remember beating Chester 4-2”
Of course we have a history prior to the last decade but like it or not the last decade is the most prestigious and as I said, 6 of the top 10 things I’ll remember from it are with him at the helm. Similarly, there are a few from the decade previous that involved him as a player.
Personally if I was to name my top 10 WAFC moments from the last 10 years then 6 are with Martinez at the helm.
Teams playing in Europe get a bye into the Third Round.
Bradford City take the competition seriously; so do Swansea.
Bless their cotton socks :)
We obviously have to set the bar a little higher being Champions of England.
Champions of England? You seem to have posted this on a Wigan Athletic message board as opposed to a Manchester United one.
