Just asked a Rovers and Man U season ticket holder their thoughts.
I shall post when they reply.
Bet they are avid thugby fans
They both like the sport but wouldn’t say they were ‘avid’ fans.
He’s another Moreno according tut Rovers fans. :oops:I had nothing against Moreno. He worked hard but wasn’t the goalscorer that a one upfront man has to be imo.
Cleverley – “He’s meant to be very good, an effective footballer as opposed to a technically brilliant one. Glad he’s gone on loan, should see if he can cut it”

Why, have you got no thoughts of your own?
Haven’t seen enough of them. They will (or in the Utd case may) have.
With regards the Santo signing I can’t say I’m too impressed tbh going off his gs record

Stating that we have the highest average in the league is deluded now is it? I thought it was a fact?
Is everyone forgetting our 1-0 win in 2008/9 when Figs scored a late winner?
WTF was Jaaska………..Jussi doing?
We took far more than 60 but don’t let facts get in the way of a good Wigan Athletic put down.
Heard that Wembley is a sell out today, couple of mates gone for the weekend.
Wembley holds in the region of 93,000, there were 85,000 tickets slod with 74,500 actually through the gates.
So if 74,500 out of 93,00 is a full house, thenm yes well done.
I am actually amazed that 74,500 turned up, but I guess a lot were free tickets to the ‘Wembley Club’ as well.
The attendance was actually 85k+ as this states here.
The only empty seats were Club Wembley as every general sale ticket had been sold.
The Wembley capacity is 90,000 as this shows.
Wigan played NZ on Dec 11th so I presume league
When we beat Chelsea?
I got 9 :D
Wish Fm may have it
I went to Wembley in 1973 and watched Les Rigbyes team lose 2-1 to Scarborough.
We didn’t perform to our full potential that day, but Johnny Rogers scored in added time to take the match to extra time.
It cost me £3 to get on and five of us went in my Dads car, it must have cost us about £6:50 in fuel, and £1:48 for butties, pop and brews for the older ones.
We got new scarves and hats(£3 all in) for the momentous occaision, and the programme was another 15p or so.
I felt really let down as a 10 year old, and it took years to get over it.
I’m thinking of contacting the club for a refund for letting me down that day, do you think I have a case, or will I rightly be told to f**k off.Refunds for bad performances?????…. Get real.
If you are a true supporter of our beloved club you take the rough with the smooth and move on to the next match.
Better times will be around the corner whether its in the PL, Championship or lower.
Who gives a F**K, we are supposed to be fans, and fans support their club no matter what level they play at.
C’mon, put your efforts into supporting the club instead of contantly slagging them offBuy that man a pint
