Why are people having a pop at Kirkland? The 10 men in front of him were f*cking awful. How many times did Kirkland pass directly to a Spurs player? How many times did he watch Lennon, Defoe, Kranjcar, Palacios etc just run with the ball and put a cross/shot in? He made several saves in the first half that kept us in it and imo none of the goals were actually his fault.
Not got a clue what he’s done with his hair, i’m not gay.Just had it pointed out to me, however, that Wigan Warriors are going from 23rd April – 4th June without playing a home game, then there is an almost month long gap again in June/July. What gives Mutty me owd mucker ?
The first week in May is for the Magic Weekend in Edinburgh, and the second is the cup. We then play two away games.
We have a gap from 18th June – 9th July which will again include a possible cup game, but is usually so any work can be done on the pitch.
Cheating French two hats
As for Champagne moments, walking away from the Newcastle game in our first season in the premiership was amazing, being top for a night was an achievement.
We were second ;)
Was on holiday for that game and the beer was certainly flowing afterward
Correct – we actually were top of the Premier when we beat Sunderland a couple of years ago at the JJB. Funny thing was everyone was really quiet outside (much to the Sunderland fans’ puzzlement) as we were too stunned to realise!
I missed that game too  :x
Well I wanted them to win

Alexandra Burke should have been shot for that rendition of hallelujah
Are they a tribute band from France?

We’ve lost 3 semi finals, 1 quarter final and a final.

That moment for me egg was when we went on that cup run beating 3 prem teams and reaching the quarters! Think it was about 2002/3.Was the title winning season. We beat West Brom, Fulham and City before losing 2-0 to Blackburn. Good season all round that.
Won’t be a bad back-up on a short term deal while we only have 1 left back
Alan Mahon’s goal at Leeds.
Totally outclassing Leeds Utd twice (once on live TV). Had you asked an alien that day who was in the CL semi finals 2 years previous they would not have said Leeds. That was when you started to believe that something special was happening (well I did anyway)
Paddy Macs goal to gain promotion from Div 3. Looked like we’d never get out that division. Then the two Greames’ clinching the title.
The 3-1 win over Chesterfield in the last league match at Springy, and Bournemouth missing 2 (or was it 3) penalties to draw at Walsall meaning we had City in the playoffs. It was in the stars that the old girl would get one more big day.
Beating big name, establised PL sides like Everton and Newcastle in our first season.
As much as I want to rip the shit out of Bruce, there is no way I am singing anything positive about T*sco.
I would join in with something along the lines of ‘shove ya f*cking Harrods up ya arse’ however
If my dying rich meant that my family were provided for – then that. I’d rather die young and ensure my families future than die old and leave them jackshit.
