According to mates in west Stand he was having a drink and wasn’t watching…….if in doubt should have launched it
So did you leave after 80 minutes then like you said or 59 when the goal was scored?
Doubt we’ll see 2 up top tonight donny
Jackson and Royle obviously don’t give a flying about the club or its supporters.
This the same Jonathan Jackson who’s been a home and away supporter all his life, whose dad was a director and sponsor of the club, who travelled to Ibrox last season by standing with his son on a packed train with the rest of the supporters, and who has been plugging the leaks and keeping the club afloat for the past nine years?
That one you mean?[/quote]
Must be a different one.
We are currently upsetting the apple cart by being in the division we are in. Under Dave Whelan we would more than likely have breached FFP and if we were to run the club the way some on here suggest we would again breach FFP.
If some on here and the likes of Facebook were allowed to run us we wouldn’t exist.
If you think for one second that Pulis or Warnock would come to Wigan or that we could even afford them without breaching FFP (we have crowds of 9000 don’t forget) then you need to quit the afternoon drinking on your day off.
1 or 2 mill pay off……..against 3 or 4 times that in lost revenue……is that too simple for you? Come on Big Roy…….I won’t smirk…..say it Cook Out !!!!Now there you are presuming we stay up with a new manager which we haven’t done the last two times we sacked a manager. You’re also missing the funds needed to pay off the backroom staff, the money we would need to give the new boss to bring in some players he wants and any money needed to bring him to the club such as compensation or a pay rise.
So whilst it may sound easy it is far from “simple business sense” and is actually a bit of a gamble. Thankfully, we have people running the club that actually know what they are doing.

Simple business sense to pay him off and try to avoid the financial chasm that awaits in league 1.Using our accounts from either of the last two times we were relegated having sacked managers, can you provide an example of that please?
Dave Whelan releases 20 million press statements a week:
“Whelan needs to shut up”
Royle says nothing:
“We need a statement”
The fact they haven’t sacked Cook is the vote of confidence in itself so no need for a pointless press release.
Wednesday should an interesting team selection. Was it last season Morsy played centre back?
Having watched the political debate, I think I have finally made my mind up
I’d stick him up front
Well that is how it started
