I’d like to see Walker get a start. He’s impressed me with both his skill and his attitude on the couple of occasions I’ve seen him,but it sounds like he does have fitness issues and maybe that’s why we haven’t seen more of him.
Nobody knows what’s really going on. It’s pointless people jumping up and down over baseless rumours and picking out a villain. Maybe the delay is down to really genuine due diligence taking place instead of lip service that happened with Portsmouth and the like.

We have more wriggle room than any of the others really in that we can afford to lose at least one game,no matter what anybody else does. Nobody else can say that. The potential problem is if we have any more cancellations and the squad gets overstretched, but we have our fate in our own hands with a little to spare.
Vaughanie is most certainly not a Prem fan. He stopped watching us in the PL days as he was disillusioned with it and was very active with Wigan Robin Park.
I think I read somewhere that it’s an International week and there won’t be a Monday tie because of that.
Our initial allocation is just under 2000, with scope for double that if needed. There won’t be any need for Wiganers to be in the home ends.
As much as I dislike City, I don’t think we can be putting everything on to them. I don’t like people running on the pitch at the best of times, but when a section of our fans just line up in front of them it isn’t to wish them well and say jolly bad luck to them. It was done purely to get a reaction. They got one. There were 2 parties involved last night.
Looks around 200 left in West, 800 East, 1800 South.I’m assuming capacity will be around 23,800 (assuming we ditch the banners).

I don’t think the banners will be ditched unless we sell a few more tickets. If you look at the East and South Stands there isn’t a single seat available in the bottom half dozen rows or the end blocks. So they must be still blocked off as I can’t see every single on of them being sold. I reckon we are working to a capacity of about 20,000 at the moment so if there are 2800 still available and a couple of hundred capacity reduction in the away end it’s around 17000 sold at the moment.
