Now now at least be consistent. You go on every forum that will accept you and rabbit on about giant flags reducing our capacity last season and now ignore the fact that they were still there last week. 9000 seats in a stand with an 8500 capacity takes some doing even without your favourite flags.
How do you know how many bids we’ve turned down for different players over the years? Do you really think we just sell at the first opportunity?
Hopefully he’s grown up a bit and got his head screwed on because the talent is obviously there. He just needs to apply it. I would imagine this signing means Gomez isn’t coming back.
We want more games not less.
Try staying in the cups beyond the 1st round then. ;)
I bet you’ve had that message typed out and stored away somewhere for years.
Bobby Nalong
I have a very uneasy feeling that some of our numpty element will bugger things up for us.
McCann could replace any of the midfield. Vukick could replace McAleny. Morgan could replace Barnet. Wabara could replace Daniels. Not too sure about Davies as playing two strikers at the same time just isn’t done so they say. It’s OK for Leicester though. And our goalscoring return has been pitiful using the system we have hasn’t it?
Did he used to be a referee in local leagues?
Is he bollocks. He’s chucking you more bait but you can’t see it.
I think people are picking on the fact that you appear to be suggesting that our fans were moved to accommodate the Mackems.
Assuming we don’t do a Devon Loch and bearing in mind some of the teams we should be playing next season I would expect the match day admission prices to go up so that makes a season ticket even more of a bargain than it already appears to be.
There are actually a couple of people complaining on Facebook because renewals are only £20 cheaper than new buys. Trying to make out they were duped into buying tickets this season.
Its funny though remembering back to going in me dads car and picking up grandad in Coppull and some of his owd mates there we’re some humdinger arguments on the way back. Things never change.
Everything seemed so simple with the game back then.
It always seemed to be the same team with the same formation every week, with both teams going for goals and trying to entertain (apart from Stafford Rangers and their off side trap). The arguments were great though as kids, especially when it got heated and a bit of swearing happened. I can always remember the oldies running out of breath before they managed to get all their sentences out, not daring to stop coz it would give one of the others chance to jump in. Ee bi gum it were reet gud back then in’t thowd days.
I remember Stafford coming to Springfield Park time wasting for 90 minutes till we scored right at the death and Maurice Whittle sat on the ball after we scored the winner to get his own back.
We have some tricky games left but so do the other teams. Everybody is going to drop points sometimes when you least expect it. The fact is we have a bit of leeway now so when other teams drop points they can afford it less than we can.
With reduced allocation of fans for away games if any more numbskills run onto the field of play, well I never seen that coming. Simple answer Wigan stop giving us high blood pressure and put these games to bed my heart can’t take it anymore.
Rather have celebrations and atmosphere like that than they do at the rugby, more atmosphere on the moon than with them lot!
Anyroad it’s all petty stuff, no harm done. Up the tics!
For God’s sake will you give it a rest about the rugby. From what I can make out you normally post on Wigan Today. Well please go back and spout your puerile childish tripe there and let the sensible ones have a chat here.
How come you haven’t posted that comment to others on here? The threads are loaded with anti rugby comments, and has for sensible conversation you may want to try joining in instead of trawling the site trying to find summat to bloody gripe about.
You need a sense of humour and post a comment on topic for a change, miserable git!
I’m in favour of a bit of banter and as 1 contributor at least on here will tell you I’m not exactly the biggest fan of the rugby. But since you surfaced on here I think every single post you’ve made has been about them. As pointed out this is a Latics board. Try talking about that for once. What you come out with isn’t wit or banter. It’s unfunny repetitive garbage. Why have you suddenly appeared on here anyway? Why not stick to Wigan Today. It’s much more your level.
