at home to bournemouth. int that how we started our run to cardif?
Correct  :woohoo:
Mauler? Has to be a wind-up. Does he have a mate called Gripper?I think it totally goes with thread topic he has took it too far reminds me of that idiot Bowton fan alledgedly who used to come on the old rivals site
am saying we were the better team till mancini changed it and went for it, were we did not u f* ***
Thanks for editing GL…did he swear at me? Tut tut.
Okay back to you Jeremy Paxman:
1. Why should Martinez have changed it up to that point? We were playing well.
2. How did Mancini’s subs change the game? I disgree with Phil’s post that they stretched us. We played well up to the two goals, and there was little change after the goals. They hardly ‘went for it’.
3. How do you know where is no ‘Plan B’? (Football Cliches: volume 1) Managers make constant adjustments throughout a game, so unless you see players charging around swapping positions or a sub or two, how do you know he hasn’t changed anything? What do you think Martinez and Jones are shouting and demonstrating with their hands from the touchline?Let’s see if you can answer without swearing.
Well the MOTD pundits showed the viewers with the aid of their playback software just how City DID stretch us ! The camera never lies Johnny ! ;)
So the pundits on match of the day said so
Do you honestly believe he didn’t hold the shot because there’s no comp for his place or the power of the shot just squirmed ou his reach, not every goaly saves ever shot, holds every effort or catches every cross, just like a striker doesn’t convert every chance.
You must realise that Filmoss tries to wind folk up and obviously you fell for it what fillip knows about football you could write on the back of a postage stamp
Well his error tonight certainly cost us ! I like many didn’t expect anything from tonight but with hindsight I feel we should have got something from the game. Not the first time City have benefited from the chosen one who can do no wrong ! ;)
has arky says the smaller ones bite
Because its got Liverpool in it?Yes
Just seen his interview on motd, he spoke sense & fair play to him, he never moaned about the players we have missing through injury
Did we actually miss Caldwell /Ramis, and McArthur tonight ?
Replacements Lopez and Jones both did well. Particularly impressed tonight with Lopez – for someone of so few games, up against some of the best (Aguero, Balotelli). Not afraid to get stuck in, appears a little more mobile than one or the other alternative in the back 3.
Boyce looking more comfortable in defence. Stam has stepped up since the Bradford debacle, providing options now down the RHS …
Me and jpc01 have had a few disagreements regarding Ramis but I have to agree that the back three tonight performed well especially Lopez it is encouraging that the stand ins tonight performed well David Jones has put in two good performances and give Ronnie Stam a couple of more games and he will be up to Prem standard

And still have room for the encyclopaedia brittanica ;)
I reckon this should be in non football department :woohoo:

We did finish 10th in first season and he started talking about Europe ! I appreciate that he has financed new training facilities and that the whole dynamic of the club is better than it ever was but I also know that we have come as far as we can and I think the majority of fans know that too. When the press come a calling he could always just say ” Hey guys lets not get ahead of ourselves here, we are a little club and things are ticking along at our pace here. We are still growing from within and the club as a whole is fairly solvent and for that we must be thankful.I feel that further investment could perhaps take us to another level but for now we are more than happy to survive each season “
Why would you want to know when previously stating that your not going to Newcastle and for the record I’m not going either on the telly no need to pay stupid money so close to Christmas
What you are forgetting is that to reach his dream of the Prem and the new stadium he actually had to invest some of his money. I for one wouldn’t blame him for wanting to invest any more of his money and as I have mentioned on other threads I honestly think we have come as far as we can now. He needs to realise that is all I am trying to say and if he wants to take it to the next level that he talks of then I’m afraid he WILL have to dig deep yet again into those Farahs !we’ve had this argument the other week and I am glad you have come round to my way of thinking again there are many things going on in the club behind the scenes that cost money he must assume we can reach the next level on a similer budget to what we are on now lets face it this a lot weaker prem league that we have been involved in than previous years in the greed league if not the weakest
