I don’t know why James is taking offence, I thought the original dig was aimed at me. :?
I haven’t seen that. He was alright in The Longest Yard though; if only it wasn’t the 42nd remake of the same concept.
Watch Dogma..It isn’t a recent film but is Awesome!
I have it on DVD, just looked and it IS Chris Rock…Good film and he is awesome in it!
Dogman is a brilliant film. Good nod there Jimmy. Also Eddie Murphy films aren’t so bad Well his latest efforts are pish poor, but I thought the 48 hour movies were quite good. Owd uns though they are.
haha that’s one team thats gunna finish below us next season :D .. Going down with record low points me thinks! Joke of a team :lol:Aye, a joke of a team that banjoed us 4-1 at their place earlier in the season. :?
I think they’ll struggle massively, and the same would have applied for Cardiff. To concede that many goals in one half shows how badly organised you are in defence, because none of the goals yesterday apart from the Adam free kick were because of an inspired solo effort.Although I shouldn’t really be putting this argument forward after our charitable defence this season…
Edit: Don’t get me wrong though, very pleased that they got promoted, especially after being favourites to get relegated at the start of the season. Cardiff didn’t deserve to be there, they cheated Leicester in the second semi final game.
I disagree. Prime example being us. When we first came up everyone said we would go straight back down and were still here six years later.
We have had the worst defence in the league this season and in the end, still comfortably stayed up, so (as you actually said) your point about their poor defence (in a cup final no less, when mad things happen as a rule in such games, especially play-off finals) is daft.
You can never write any team off in the Premier League. Unless of course you lose your manager half way through a season and replace him with Brian Laws.
I read a few similar stories regarding Lee Cattermole.
Hope he stays or we get 15 million for him. (Going off Valencia’s price)
Sadly I can’t see either happening.
You gotta have the style these day and ages SW. Chequered top and brown shoes and your reet for the night. A nice tan to top it off and your good to go :D
I think it’s either “check” shirt or “checked” shirt. You have a chequered past, not shirt. “Checkered” is the sort of spelling my 5-year old would howl laughing at.
‘Check’ this out:
‘checkered – patterned with alternating squares of colour’
Online Dictionary…tell ya cheeky 5-year-old to do one. 8-)
TBH though ‘Checked’ sounds far better than checkered. ;)
You might already have heard of her, but Joanne Newsom is a good female vocalist. Although it is an acquired taste and her bloody harp can be annoying after a while.
Yes! She is quite fantastic. I find that I have to read the lyrics to her songs as I listen to her, otherwise I cannot understand a word that she is saying (a friend of mine compared her to Lisa Simpson, which is bang on) but it’s all soothing and whatnot, like classical music. I’ve got ‘Have One On Me’ and it’s a very good album. She was on Jools Holland the other week too (and she’s quite fit, hoorah!).
Think that’s her new album, I haven’t got round to having a listen to that yet. That ‘Yyys’ or whatever it is called is quite tremendous for me. There’s a load of good folky/indie artists out there at the moment. Yes, she is quite fit n all. Maybe too old for James’ taste though.
I definitely would though. :!:
I wouldn’t wear a football top to a party, no.
Go for a checkered shirt with roll up sleeves, possible purple or blue, along with some jeans and a air of Brown shoes. :D
I’m more of a fan of the red checkered (is it chequered or checkered, i’ve never had the need to know the difference) shirt, along with a hint of white. not a fan of wearing purple. I’m with you on the brown shoes. Black is soooooo 2008.
I think it’s chequered but I don’t mind. I am not too keen on my purple top but still wore it last week which is why I said it :D .. I tend to be a person who will wear a darker chequered top, normally back (with the hint of white of course, vital!) with just the usual jeans and the brown shoes.
Black is not a colour of shoe you wanna be seen out in in this day and age!
Is this still a football club related forum, or have I stumbled upon Loose Women Online?

Seldom see them in the West Stand James, as we are all law abiding citizens in there. That means nothing if that film is anything to go by.
Goin swansea for my mates 30th birthday party tomorrow should i wear my latics top ?

Young lads (and lasses for all I know) tactically waiting ten mins after the game has started and then banging on the turnstiles in order to be let in to see the game for free. This used to happen at Springfield Park. im not so sure if it would cut much ice at the DW.
This reminds me of how tight we must have been as it was only a pound and half to get on.

BTW: Bicky you’re risking the wrath of Griff starting a new thread like this.

Eddie Murphy in the Raw and Delirious routines were some of the finest stand up ever.
Frankie Boyle nicks most of his material from sickipedia.com
I cant stand Ricky Gervais either.
Not too keen on Edie Murphy, Actually I don’t like him at all!
Frankie Boyle, regardless of where his stuff is from he is funny.
Gervais is awful.
Who is john Bishop?
Chris Rock anyone?
Gotta be more Richard Pryor, without him there wouldn’t even be a Chris Rock or an Eddie Murphy (regardless if you think he’s gash).
Did you get round to watching Animals then yet?
