Yeah they have played that rambling man quite a lot…Is atrocious.. And one other of hers comes on too..which is also atrocious… Saying that I like Miley Cyrus (Maybe not for her songs though ;) )… Liked that Kaci in the first video ‘Paradise’ she did too ;)

You’re likening her to those two?

Marling is the epitome of ‘new-folk’.

      Kaci though. 8-)
You might already have heard of her, but Joanne Newsom is a good female vocalist. Although it is an acquired taste and her bloody harp can be annoying after a while.

After seeing him a few times from watching the bundesliga on espn I reckon he would be a decent signing. I’m hoping that it isn’t just the usual paper talk

Im not so sure, were talking about a player who got more yellow cards last season than scored goals. Not the kind of statistic a striker wants.

I watch a bit of Dortmund, and he’s not a regular starter, (started 18 times this season) Barrios is the main fella there (he is a fantastic player – scored 19 this season) and Zidan (no, not that one – the fella who scored against us for Egypt) is another good un. Obviously both out of our price range. Talking about the same price being banded about for N’Zogbia at the moment.

If he comes I hope its for about 3 million and Hugo stays, cos he’s a bit like a poor man’s Tevez, runs around all day and allows others to shine, but I can’t see him scoring a shed-load for us. However just had a sneaky luck on msg boards for Dortmund and a few fans are saying they’ll be sorry to see him go, although there’s no mention of us being in the picture.

Jesus – sorry about rattling on. :geek:

So has this Alcaraz been given a visa. I was under the impression that players had to play a percentage of their Country’s Internationals in order to get one.

When he’s only got four i’m thinking that this doesn’t meet the stipulations. 70% or something I think.

Depends. He may have an EU passport (ie once drank a bottle of San Miguel, or has a Spanish mother or summat) which – I think – exempts them from a lot of the rules.

Disclaimer – what I’ve just said maybe total drivel.
Aye you could have something there. I’m thinking with Belgium being part of the EU, they must have same sort of rules concerning this type of thing. And the fella’s played a good amount of games for Brugges with no problems.

He’d also have to apply again for a visa when he moves clubs and there’s been no talk of this so far, so i reckon EU Passport it is.

A warchest was uttered a handful of times when we were promoted 5-6 years back, it doesn’t exist.

I have some panadol you can have. You’ll certainly need it, banging your head against the wall with this warchest farce.
If this warchest did indeed exist, d’ya reckon Whelan would have money in coin form, note form, or go old-school and go for the old-fashioned cheque?

I really don’t have hope for us though as after looking at the stages breakdown it’s likely we’d face Brazil or Spain en route or even in the final. I mean it’s the kind of World Cup run I’d want to see but it does scupper our chances a bit!

I don’t fancy our chances much either.

Isn’t it Serbia or Germany if we go through? If it is, then I can’t see us beating either.
Oh I don’t know. With that clown in nets for Serbia I can see Australia or Ghana going through. England’ll get through to quarters at least, then its anybody’s.

                  I reckon Spain meself.

I’d have to agree that it isn’t a priority (Could be construed as damning Boyce with faint praise) however disagree that Mendy is better than Boyce so I suppose that were halfway there. :|

You really think that Mendy is a better right-back than Boyce? I can’t agree. Think back to when Boyce first came to Wigan, for me he was sh1t-hot at right-back and it was only because of his versatility that he was converted to centre-back (and of course Mario’s arrival).

Either way I’d be yellow watered off if I was Boyce and a player of the calibre of Mendy came in and took a place in the team that should be (in terms of availability and quality) mine.

It could all be rhetoric anyway as I fear Boyce could be done for in the summer as Martinez seems to favour others ahead of him.

                        Bernard Mendy has left Hull:

Good solid right back, and he would be a good replacement for Mario I reckon. Plus he’d be free.

                        Wadda we think?

Would be a great signing. really liked what I have seen f him..looks good going forward too.

Don’t like the post after it though, think Boyd will be a flop if he comes to the Prem.
Tend to disagree on both counts. Boyce is a better right-back than Mendy and so i’d only want a right-back coming in who would actually do a better job than Boyce, failing that let Boyce play that position, which he does rather well.

And Kris Boyd is relatively young and has scored a shed-load of goals for Rangers (In an admittedly Championshipesque division). However he wouldn’t cost all that much (is he on a free?) and I cant imagine him being on high wages. We need someone who can score ten+ goals a season and be somewhat of a bargain. I reckon he’s good on both counts.

He was good. Didn’t pull any punches.

Shame he didn’t afford the same to his wife.

In all honesty though one of the greatest comedians must be Billy Connelly. And when Gervais did his stand-up was also superb.

I would also say that when Boyle was in his pomp on ‘Mock the Week’ he was brilliant along with the other fella who’s name escapes me. Blond fella…Russell Howard is it :?: Not sure. Just the speed of their retorts were class in itself.
think Ricky Gervais is awful, just cannot stand him.

Have to agree with Frannkie Boyle, incredibly funny. Not keen on Russel Howard himself (Yeah he is the blonde one).. But the show he doesn ‘Good news with Russell Howard’ is really funny, but at stand up I am not too keen. :)
Never actually seen his stand-up so i’m just going off his appearances on ‘Mock the Week’, for me they were both as good as each other.

I’d also say that if you haven’t watched Gervais in stand-up (especially animals), watch it, because it’s class, but each to their own and all that. Tis good though.

                            Hopefully.

Boyce – Gohouri – Bramble (c) – Figueroa is my ideal backline.

Could change Gohouri for that new fella depends on their respective World Cups. Although as of now I would tend to agree with you.

I wouldn’t be suprised if Figueroa has moved on come the start of the new season.
