I would dock their F@@@ing wages and refund the fans!!!!
Only 1 point from the bottom three tonight also.
Not looking good is it? :x :xThe rest of this season that is.TAs a first eleven:
Kirkland
Boyce/Bramble/Caldwell/Figueroa
Diame/Thomas/McCarthy/Nzogbia
Rodellega/MosesAnd as a second eleven:
Stojkovic
Melchiot/Gohouri/Scharner/Edman
Gomez/Sinclair/Watson/Koumas
Scotland/MorenoOf course, both sets of players could [and probably will] play 4-5-1, but 4-4-2 is still an option. I could easily see Moreno starting ahead of Moses, or Scharner regaining his place in midfield. We’ll have to wait and see over the coming weeks.
However, I think Martinez and Whelan have done us proud this time and I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.
For all the doom and gloom mongers out there I simply ask that you give this team a chance before spouting your rubbish again on here.
Scharner for Thomas any day of the week!
No lighty no likey!
  :roll:Things havent changed whatsoever if anything they have become worse.Labour is full of middle class career politicians -did anyone see that list for the prospective MP’s for Labour at the election.
Didnt one come from Surrey or some such place? :?:The damage was done to Wigan in the late 1970s and early 1980’s when all the heavy industry i.e coal pits ,factories and cotton mills shut their doors. The town was left with bugger all like most towns in the north and a generation was displaced by the inevitable mass unemployment that resulted.
The person responsible for a lot of that was Margaret Thatcher and her dreadful policies that affected large swathes of the North and turned places into ghost towns and created the enormous underclass that exists today living on benefits and creating vicious circle that results. The people you refer to probably would have worked in the above industries but with no investment to give this group some work what choice have they got? I am no lover of this government and will certainly not be voting Labour especially if some middle class career politician gets the labour seats here-f@ckin disgrace that.Only investment from central government will sort out Wigan and give some hope lost forever nearly 30 years ago.Brenda and Dave need a @@@@ing busy day monday on that showing.
Dreadful finishing today-got what we deservedEverton without a doubt-always a highlight and the first time it has fell on a saturday!
Proper old fashioned football club with decent passionate supporters and i have a good feeling it might be our day.
Contrast that with the Notts county replay two bored apathetic teams ‘trying’ to win the ‘prize’ of playing Dulham away and a probable defeat. So what if they get in the home seats?
It used to happen in the old days when the chances of receiving a slap were far greater than today.I remember PNE coming int the home areas at springfield in the dreadful mid nineties when they were doing well.I dont remember any trouble and they scored at the death(Kilbane i think) although the usual stuff happened near the train station.
My Dad was an Evertonian who moved up here like most scousers to escape that dreadful city and bring his kids up in a better area.Loads of Evertonians in the Wigan area so most of them will be locals anyway.
As long as they keep stum what is the problem?Magno (Vierra) that Brazilian who ended up in the non league i think.
Andy Ainsco
Crazy question !:o
The longer the club stays in the top flight the bigger it becomes and the stronger it becomes.More kids in the future will latch on to us instead of the other local clubs and eventually take their own kids when they grow up.
Relegation is unthinkable for a club our size and the results of this would be far reaching in my view .
Bradford city are a perfect example of what can happen when a small club loses its top flight status.
Be careful what you wish for.Portsmouth Southampton eh?
Hmmmmmmmmmm! :x :x :x :x :x
I dont agree with everything he says/does but to come out with that comment is crazy…can people not see the bigger picture with Whelan, that instead of having a very good chance of making it through to the FA Cup 5th round tomorrow and enjoying our 5th Premier League season, without Whelan we would have been in the Conference North or something and probably be playing someone like Fleetwood Town (no disrepect) tomorrow.Good post
Lets get real!
Premier League for 5 years and a trip to a major cup final or extinction?
It would have happened believe me because the club was on its @rse before he arrived-crowds at 1800 if we were lucky. Two generations of youngsters now support Latics and the club will be strong for years to come because of this.I heard the cliquey pundits on sky a couple of weeks ago saying he is the type to take them to the next level-with his Harrods bag eh?.
Come on though we love him really especially when he admitted sometime ago he regularly raids the fridge at home :oBest laugh i have had this month -how desperate are they up at Dull City?
lets all celebrate a rare victory- our first since November-stop moaning!
