Doesn’t matter how long ago it was, Latics fans carry extremely feeble grudges. Look how they react every time the rugby play. Just because of one little gay man in the 80’s.

I have some stashed away in my granddads loft somewhere. All the Mr. Men books and a rubiks cube that i never actually managed to complete. It looks complete but if i remember rightly i just peeled the stickers off and stuck them back on the correct way. ;) ;) :P

If i remember right LMB Cov fans wanted him to stay i think it was just a case of better offer, i dont think he failed tho may be wrong.

No he was sacked steve, the coventry fans never really took to him because he stepped into the shoes of coventry hero gary mccalister who resigned to care for his dying wife.
If you remember our mutual friend yosser hughes, well his best mate malc brown(he lived in bedworth as well) is a coventry season ticket holder and he used to ask me what i thought of black when he was with us, he was only assistant so i couldn’t really give an opinion one way or another, but he didn’t rate him at all.[/quote]

Yosser_Hughes as in me or the real Yosser

Observed the silence on my own, Pity the lads of today have no sign of the courage shown by the brave soldiers all those years ago.

If it was not for our forefathers we would not be here today. Sleep well men R.I.P

Edit – The opening comments were not aimed at the military lads of today. Directed twards the Jeremy Kylers of the country.

Oh yeah he has to be better than me no matter what i have done. He is one of them, If i have had a shite he has had a bigger one. But when i had my motorbike i didn’t fall off it and break my leg showing off like he did. B) B) B) If i was an 80’s teenager i don’t think i would have gone for the doc martens. I reckon i would have been a headbanger. Think that’s the equivellant to the rock music i like nowadays.

    Not seen a Rubik’s Cube for a while. Or a Mr.Men book.

Being 26, Rockport was the roll call in my teenage years, But my dad claims that Doc Martens 70 odd lacers were the sh*t and he had a pair to show off to the girls on his suped up FS1E (fizzy)

Then you should really say a list of the worse players to ever put one on. To be honest i think there are more than a couple in the current squad.

Gary Caldwell and Hendry Thomas are two of the worst footballers i have ever seen. Utterly disgraceful that they even play league football altogether.

    Agreed Arky.

Sack him for gross misconduct without compensation. We are down anyway so it makes no difference.

I’m confused trying to read that post. Try a few commas and full stops. :P :P :P :P

Only joking. Anybody willing to try and support a different style of football is a step forward in my eyes. In other words i suppose, Just a new idea.

You Can’t Beat It though, Murray was quite Off The Wall and acted like a Smooth Criminal all the way through. You Got To Be There to Remember The Time he was Dangerous. Murray’s fans were Speechless and told him ‘You Are Not Alone’ but this time his hands could not Heal The World.

I don’t think i need to really answer that.

Or unless you mean major trophies. Nothing

in reply to: Overheard on the 0640 Hindley to Manchester today #73836
Sorry Griff but that’s rubbish – the 0640 no longer goes from Hindley to Manchester !!

And that’s only happened since Martinez came.

Not only am i now living in Hindley but i also work on the railway and assure you that train runs. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Why? because they aren’t massive names. I will tell you a laughable suggestion, Roberto Martinez, Probably the worst manager of any Premiership Team. The names i have put forward have all achieved relative success for various reasons. Why don’t you look them up rather than laugh at a name.

Let me put this to you. David Moyes, Ian Holloway, Sam Allardyce, Arsene Wenger, Brendan Rodgers, Owen Coyle. Who the hell were they as players eh? But look at what they have achieved as managers. Being a big fancy name player doesn’t make you a good manager. I actually think it makes you a worse manager. Roy Keane, Paul Ince, Ruud Gullit, Tony Adams, Paul Gascoigne, Bobby Charlton, John Barnes, David Platt, Diego Maradona. Do you catch my drift.
