Di Santo’s goal at Fulham was a bit special as well.

Nah, Robbo was class. He really was. Look up united v barca 84 on YouTube.

Nah – even you could have scored both those goals mate. ;)

You’ll have to do better than that. B)

dunno why your all winging like women if rooney or wilshire score the winning goal in a world cup final be a totally different story

World Cup Final – if that happens it’ll be a bloody miracle!! ;)

Duncan Ferguson a violent thug in a football shirt with no talent at all.Ask Paul Scharner. :)

Bryan Robson – workmanlike and injury prone.Somehow convinced Bobby Robson that England couldn’t function without him. Then amazingly when he got injured in 2 World Cups England performed significantly better without him.

Villa will beat Liverpool today .

    Really?? :)

Great second half performance from Liverpool. We are level on points and 6 goals better off than Villa with a game in hand.

Great weekend for us so far. Let’s hope it continues tomorrow at Fulham.

Since hes come back, scharner has been a rock, but today was woefull. And webb, how the fuck two norwich players can go for same ball, both fall over and get a free kick and McCarthy a bollocking is beyond me

Woeful or not he was Man Of The Match !!

Actually he was no worse than anybody else.

I thought Gomez was poor in the centre today, wanting far too much time on the ball.We were much better when he was stuck up front – we scored from his pass.

Scharner was handicapped by his first half booking which meant he couldn’t risk a bad tackle or he may have got a red.

Anyway we won so nout else matters really does it?

Couldn’t give a toss what he has to say to be honest.

I’m more concerned with celebrating todays great result than baiting and gloating over the Cockney Spiv !!

Not a great game or performance but sometimes you have to win ugly.

Alcaraz was immense and his match saving tackle was a superb piece of timing.

Kones hold up play was great as well and as for the finish – Brilliant. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Credit to Martinez for starting with Mcmanaman and under the circumstances credit to the FA for appointing Howard Webb as the ref.

Fingers crossed Liverpool and Fulham can do us a big favour.

    Onwards and upwards.

Last home game before Wembley and very winnable.

The players know they’re playing for their Wembley places these next 2 games so no excuses for lack of effort

On paper all the others around us have tough games, time to make inroads.

    Drawbacks…

    1. We’ve never beaten Norwich in t’league
    2. Lawrenson tips us to win
    3. The pitch will be riddled with egg divets

    I’m going 2-0 ‘Tics.

    We’ll win.

But more importantly – Love your avatar.

Rachel and Natalie make Sky News worth watching. I even have the sound on sometimes !!!!!???????

That Olivia is scary though!!!

    Jealousy. Plain and simple.

    Totally agree.

Yes we are where we are because of Uncle Dave’s cash – but not only that.

We had a decent manager in Paul Jewell and 2 good strikers in The Duke and Jason Roberts plus Bullard and a very good Championship defence. He bought well before our first Premiership season as well. No one expected us to stay up but that first season, the media loved us and we were never off Sky.

A breath of fresh air was the phrase used.

The fans of other former “big” clubs were jealous though. We were slagged off continuously.Like it’s our fault they had shit managers and bought the wrong players or had Chairman that got too big for their boots. I wish I had a quid for every no fans, rugby town comment I’ve read over the years.

There’s been a lot of hard work to get us where we are and to keep us there. If it really was down to just money then QPR should be in a Champions League spot with the money they’ve spent. They don’t seem to get the abuse we do though.

Also what about Chelski and Citeh if it wasn’t for the money they would never have got Jose and Mancini or the players they’ve been able to buy. There’s no way they would have ever won the PL otherwise. Are you telling me they didn’t buy their was to the top?

    Of course they did.

They deserve slagging off far more than us in that case.

Anyway let’s all appreciate what we currently have and fingers crossed we stay up again.

If other teams don’t like it then I for one really hope we give them a lot more they don’t like.

WE’RE GOING TO WEMBLEY ………………….. in an FA Cup semi for Christ’s sake !!!!!

    Enjoy it !! :)

If he’s fit then he should play.

The longer he doesn’t the more the mental strain and pressure on the lad will be.

The manager needs proof of his temprament as well.

It’s a massive game tomorrow and we need to win.

    I hope he plays.

The Brick is the Brickmakers Arms Woodhouse Lane. Named after the men from a brick making factory nearby used to use the building for boozing just over 100 years ago. The Bricklayers used to be in Hallgate.

Thanx John – The Brickmakers is one pub I’ve never been in.

However the Bricklayers was the first pub in Wigan I ever went in. After the Deanery School dance in 1972. I was 15 and had 1/2 of mild !!!!

Single blokes or ST holders with no kids though – NO EXCUSE !!! B)

What’s the difference between a ST holder with no kids and a non-ST holder with no kids? :/[/quote]

One is better off between £250.00 and £350.00 I guess.

I meant and not or – I think. It was early this morning !! B)
