Boyce in for Melchiot has to be his first big decision. Arguably our two best performances this season at home have been Liverpool and Villa both these games Boyce was full back and in my opinion was MOM in both even though he took a knock for the last twenty minutes against Villa. We all know of course that this wont happen.

He should have booked Tevez as well for trying to con a penalty twice.

New Addiction in Earlestown did my tree and crown. Very sharp image and quite reasonable at £45 (75mm) but you have to book in advance you cant just walk in.

Tevez should not have been on the field before he scored his first. Twice he tried to con the ref for penalties with blatant dives and that was a two footed stamp in the Caldwell challenge.

I forgot about Man City make that 4 wins from 6 games. To win these games we have to create clearcut chances, something we are not capable of doing under the present formation.

Weve won 6 games out of 27. We wont get anything from the games against Liverpool, Arsenal, Villa and Chelsea. That leaves 4 wins from 7 games left. Dream on.

Hendry Thomas is a worse thug than Shawcross and im surprised that he has not “snapped someone in half” before now.

For me it has to be our second season as a league club 14th January 1980 Chelsea away 1-0 win courtesy of a Tommy Gore goal, lobbed the keeper if i remember correct. Next round was the 3-0 defeat at goodison when Brian Kidd was sent off for sticking the head on Neil Davids.

They are all terminally erratic and therefore, “on his day”, he is better than all six of them.

Correct griff they all terminally erratic so therefore if the six I mentioned had “their day” and Kirky didnt that would make him the worst of the seven ;)
The point I was trying to make was that in my opinion of the seven keepers named and all having “their day” Kirkland would be 7th and definitely not top 3 material.

Just out of interest griff who would you say is/was the better keeper “on their day” Chris Kirkland or Roy Carroll”
