Fair comments Mitty…and as bob16 says, Hugo is ‘lost’ on the left (he is clearly not happy with this and it reflects in his play)

What I would add to the ‘mix’ is that half of them lacked pace in the second half. Caught on the break at least five times and no-one fast enough to catch them. Figs took the ball on a 60 yarder, before getting tackled then took 5 minutes catching his breath – no energy to chase down the ‘second ball’ that we were good at in the first half (there were many more examples of this) – my fear is that we do not have a fully fit team……..are they not training hard enough?

Just when I ‘nearly’ despair on this board, my mind is rescued.
Freud was right when he coined the name “narcissism”.
Poor, poor klumps………….

Nache is credited as being the first to use the term ‘narcissism’ you ignorant retard.

Your pal Freud argued that narcissism is an essential part in normal development. The love of the parents for their child and their attitude towards their child could be seen as a revival and reproduction of their own narcissism according to Freud.

Don’t blame me if you didn’t get any love from you parents or can reproduce that with your own children.
I love the word ‘Retard’………….a word used by those with very very low self esteem. To accentuate it with the word ‘ignorant’ is a cry for help. It says to me….HELP…I can’t read a messageboard. I am blind to ways of the educated and informed; my only defence is attack.

Wait! Let me check that great Encyclopaedia of the world….let’s all bow down to WikiGodPedia……the fountain of all knowledge…..you, being this ‘klump’; – Is this Narcissist PemBoy (psych 1-0-1 1899 – Oxford) truely right? Hmmmm! The use of a reference to suggest that Nache first ‘used’ the term ‘narcissism’ is indeed correct (according to Wiki – as amended today…hmmm!), however, using the word in ‘a study of sexual perversions’ is hardly the same as “coining” the word in the context that I use it (“coining” is a word also used in the same article YOU tried to use in your pathetic argument). Now let me remind you of the ‘Key Skills’ you should have learned at school. RTFP……Read the F£ckin Post (introduces new word to forum) you moronic crepuscular cephalopod.

After reading posts on here, I suggest you ask a grown up (or a Latics supporter – both are equal) to make sure that you completely understand what has been said (for me I’ll take 50% understanding – I can ‘Psych’ the rest).

Finally I love the……………………………….“Don’t blame me if you didn’t get any love from you parents or can reproduce that with your own children” bit………..it reminds me so much of what an old ‘adversary’ used to say……..you must be ‘Paranoid’ about it. WTF does that sentence mean?…….No honestly, what does it mean? Are you locked in a small room with too much weed, a Trippervision DVD wearing your ‘Powergen’ stained shirt………………………………..thought so.

Remember! Don’t try to make someone look like a fool whilst looking like a clown yourself. Schoolboy error you plant pot…..

Hail to my friend Freud…………………the foundation to my initiation.

Follow me my friend……………………..it can be a wondrous journey. However, if you chose not to…………….

then maybe I can “follow” you……

Quite right Mr Walker, however, let’s not forget their ‘War Effort’ after all they captured the ‘Enigma Cipher Machine’ for us – as depicted in U571. Then saved us in WW2 as it apparently only began in Dec 1941 – as seen in ‘Pearl Harbour’…….etc. Just like their ‘Reds Under the Bed’ television/radio campaign in the 60’s their aim was/is to indoctorate the masses using internal terror and of course the media. They are ‘Revisionists’ and believe that by portraying history through the eye of a camara after a (for the yanks) short period of time, it will become fact for them. With over 350 million of them burning more than 40% of the worlds resources serious questions have to be asked about their future intentions – special relationship? (My Arris)

They are an insidious breed, them yanks, and having worked with them ‘professionally’ (on and off over my previous life) their self righteousness in this world beggars belief.

Here’s a conundrum…….. Who are the ‘real’ terrorists in this world – are they the ‘illuminati’, and (cough) where are they based.

Deep, radical (and researched) thought needed here.

Truth is, whether you like to accept it or not, without the Americans in WW2, we’d have been in trouble. No, seriously! Hitler was on our doorstep and on the verge of invading when the USA came into the war in 1941, and by the time the majority of GI’s shipped over here in ’42 and ’43, we were stretched to the core. Don’t forget, we were, and still are, a tiny, island nation. We had our army fighting on several different fronts, in Europe, Africa, and the Far East. For us to fight the combined might of the Nazi’s, and the Japanese Imperial Army, was a bloody big ask. In fact, Pearl Harbour was probably the best thing that could of happened to us, as it brought the Yanks into the war.
Add to that, Hitler’s mistake of taking on the Russians at the same time as us and the Yanks, and it was a massive mistake. His forces were so stretched. He simply took too much on.
I will say though, that the MODERN DAY American is a different breed, as is the modern day Brit, to that of the ‘Greatest Generation’. I have met some American veterans who parachuted into Normandy on D-Day, and I have the same respect for them, as I do our own veterans.
My response to Mr Walker et al was not a illicitation for a chronology of events leading to who did what and when in the Second World War – believe it or not it is well documented and opinons on cause and effect have varied ever since – I will not be lectured on recent military history. Unlike those who read of their exploits I am one of the ‘unfortunate’ few who have had to endure, with them, some of them.

Further, you have missed my point by a country mile chap, as you have rightly or wrongly referred, certain facts remain – we are British and have no need to change our history, however, I wll say again…..they are a breed of ‘Revisionists’ who through the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s tried to tell anyone who would listen that it was their world and they are the true saviours – they also terrorised their own people with frightening and totally inappropriate propaganda.

They have only one aim in this world and that is to protect their own self interests – wherever that may be.

Their hierachy is weak and policy is dictated by the super rich (Illuminati) and it is my view that these will be the people who will create world unrest in the future.

We need look no further than the fact that their ‘chosen one’ states that in the openess and freedom of religion within their country he will not stop or get in the way of a mosque being built within sight/near to ‘Ground Zero’.

What a great way to stir up and fan the hatred flames against those who perpetrated that abomination….. what a great way (with minimum collateral damage) to stir up civil unrest to futher their aims.

‘Modern Day’ you say….I wouldn’t trust one as far as Mr Walker and Griff could throw one.

The body language of the players was appalling on Saturday. I think there is serious unrest behind the scenes. I believe Bramble has said that one reason he left was that he felt they weren’t being trained hard enough. Our players certainly didn’t look very fit, and the frightening thing was they were yards off the pace to a Blackpool side that lacked finesse, but had guts, guile, and camerardrie. Everything we didn’t have.

And let’s be honest, it could easily have been 6 or even 7!

I am dreading Saturday, but then again, if we get done 6 or 7, it might be for the best, if Marteenez goes. I think he is vastly out of his depth, and truth is, he had ONE decent season at an everage Championship club, where he achieved nothing other than a reputation for ‘pretty football’ and finished EIGHTH, 6 points off a play off spot.

But for his club links, would Whelan have looked at him twice? No way. It was a mistake.

Vat69 only a couple of weeks ago you were posting this…

I might be jumping the gun a bit here, but I am very happy with what I have seen of each player so far. Each look like they ‘have’ something under their belts, and the squad definitely looks stronger, doesn’t it?

We signed Boselli, and I think that could become quite a coup, because he was said to be unlucky to miss out on Argentina’s World Cup squad. I’ve been watching clips on Youtube, and frankly he looks class.

And Alcaraz? Since when did we sign World Cup bound players? But we did. And going off how he looked against Real Zaragoza, he looks absolute quality. Comfortable on the ball, good distribution. Have we replaced Bramble with someone better? I definitely think so.

Add to that the likes of Stam, who was also wanted by Ajax, McCarthur, who looks a decent player, Al Habsi, who is reckoned to be a good keeper, and things look good. But also take into consideration the rejeuvenated Ben Watson, who looks hungry as anything to succeed at the club, and all in all we have a bloody decent squad. Our midfield, especially looks very healthy. In fact, ALL departments do.

I notice the No:7 shirt is still vacant. Wouldn’t ‘Tuncay 7’ be a cracking finish to a summer of signings? It would be the ‘cherry on the cake’, definitely.

Really hopeful this season. I think Roberto has been very shrewd with the players he’s landed. Here’s hoping!

Now after one game you think he should go.

I think this proves what an attention seeking oddball you really are. You have been on every site that would have you banging on about your loyalties, years watching and everything else you bore people to tears with. I think the above just shows what you really are. Does anyone actually shout at RM to sort it out when he is just standing there with his arms folded showing no emotion whatsoever when his team is getting ripped apart by the 1-3 favs to go down ! The man shows no fire and passion whatsoever when he is on the touchline so he might as well just be sat in the dugout doing a crossword or something !

Sorry Fil…..was too busy with my Sudoku to notice

What we’ll do next week is run some string and cans between East and Springfield stands so that we all can keep in touch with each other…..

……..according to every tom, richard and f£ckin harriet that will be about a dozen cans needed – GIVE ME F£CKIN STRENGTH – as JR subtly puts it – we were there when we were sh !t. We’ve paid our dues over the years (and I know you’re 47….a couple of years younger than me by the way) and know how to deal and react to the players, manager and the establishment – the benefit of maturity tells us different to the ‘know nothing’ retard trolls that infest this board – one clown asked how to have his account deleted (joined a year ago with a massive input of 25 posts…..I’m surprised Griff was as gentle as he was with the response).

As a ‘Springfield’ Stander I stand by how I support my team. I have my own views and opinions as to how the current manager is doing his job but at the moment I keep them to myself and a few close friends – all….I believe…is not yet known to us.

You, me both are too long in the tooth for this – we’ve been there and done it.

I’ll be there again, standing (cough), in’t Springfield stand against Chelski – I forgive them like I do my kids (angry for a day then back to normal – life is f£ckin too short).

GIVE ME F£CKIN STRENGTH…..

and I thought that this board was populated by those that understood the ways and means of the ‘rag trade’; Sh! teSportsNews is just as guilty as any cr@ppy Redtop in the shops. Watching recently the ‘hysteria’ that was Blackpools’ forums the sh! tty broadcaster (from skyshi ttinews) was castigating (without any evidence at all) their manager – stating that he was ‘on his way’. When Holloway came on the tele to decry any rumours it was ‘oh well!….next made up story’; not even an explanation of who they got the info from.

Now I’m not a ‘conspiricist’ – however, there are those who cannot stand the fact that we remain in the Premier League and will do their utmost to undermine us within the ‘social network’ system…..and they work for the ‘lazy, sh! tty, no nowt, gutter, redtop press. They couldn’t undertand the game even if a casey hit ’em on the boll0x.

Right….back on theme….the original poster who says that he is ‘an ungrateful git’ needs to take themselves outside and give their head a shake – you have fallen into the craptrap……..(lazy, madeup, speculative, wannabee, moneymakin, scoopin, lie’in) that is – the f£ckin media…………

True or not…..if he turns out for us on Saturday, anyone booing him should get a right slapping……anyone booing the Team should get a good kicking. It’s about time we stopped listening to the sh! te spouted by SSN, Redtops and the ‘trolls’ on here ………………

……………….it starts this Saturday – (sit near to me? Bring your earplugs because it’s going to be vocal this season………..and I ‘stand’ in the West……..boring, grumbling, whinging?…….never!)

I am obviously not going to forget that 11 lives were lost in this event, but as for catastrophic damage and BP being held to ransom :o

The ‘oil slick’ hit the Gulf coast in Florida and lasted for a total of three days. There is next to no oil left visible and has Obama come out and defended his MASSIVE over eggageration of this ‘disaster’?? No chance
