Having seen the replay on TV I can’t see how Rodgers can say it was definitely onside as the camera probably has a better angle than he had on the touchline.
I think it’s 50-50, but the linesman was up with play so he should have had a good view. It’s all academic now anyway!
This is possibly one of the most protracted transfers there has been.
We do seem to get involved in these sorts of cases – remember Andy Webster? It led to what some people call “Webster’s Law”.
Maybe we could soon have “Piscu Law” ;)
What about Landzaat against Arsenal at the Emirates? That was a beauty!
Oh and talking about Arsenal, how about Roberts’ goal to send us to Cardiff and Charlie’s goal last season :D
I see he’s top of the fouling charts for this season already with double the number than anyone else.
You can’t afford to give away that many fouls at international level as possession is key, so he’s not for me I’m afraid :roll:
I would like to see McArthur given his chance, although I suspect that Roberto is giving him time to settle in like he did with McCarthy.
It might be worth him giving him a run out in the latter stages of a few games though, especially if we are winning.
He needs to get used to playing in a proper league, as opposed to the League 1-standard SPL.
