Well said that man
The crazy thing is that if Gomez did half an extra yard of pace he would the missing link that could really make a difference to our team.
As it is he’s as slow as a cart horse with a bad leg injury
I don’t agree with your view on Alcaraz. Yes he has been caught out a few times, but he is relatively composed on the ball, can bring the ball out of defence and is good at heading the ball.
Okay he sometimes over elaborates a bit and can play the odd hospital ball, but I would far rather have him in there than any of our other centre halves. If he isn’t willing to put Piscu in there then I say get one of our most consistent performers from the last few years in there in Boyce – it’s a no brainer.
We’ve been slightly better defensively this year than last – no absolute hammerings. Apart from the opening two games we have conceded three goals in a game in the league just twice – West Ham and Arsenal away.
But I think you are spot on about Al Habsi – he has been a major reason why we haven’t had a mauling this season – just shows you how important a decent keeper is. Big  for Al Habsi shame he won’t be here next season
There’s no doubt he does have a good left foot and can thread a pass, but if he’s too slow to get that shot or pass away before being robbed of possession he ain’t much good to us
Of course we’re the favourites to finish bottom. We have played more games than both Wolves and West Spam and are just two points ahead of them.
In theory if they win those games in hand they would be ahead of us and we would be bottom that is why we are favourites with the bookies.
Griff, what is it with you and your love of Gomez?
If we had Gomez in the team along with the Chuckle brothers we might as well field a team full of grannies the amount of pace we would have in there
Watson continually stopped West Brom’s breaks forward so I do not understand the stick he is getting this morning.
He was one of our better players last night. The one player who should be getting stick is Diame. He is either coasting in games, or his heart condition is playing a part in his lethargic performances.
We need to get McArthur back in the side tout suite!
I think if we don’t win on Saturday we’ve had it.
If we win on Saturday we keep in touch with the other sides and we go to Anfield with a bit of optimism going into our tough run of games. I still think we can pull off a shock similar to the Spurs game if we can get Alcaraz back. How about putting Alcaraz at centre half with Boyce? Just an idea
Fail to win on Saturday and I just can’t see us turning it around.
If we go down, we go down. I’ll still support the side
But what are the chances of us putting Alcaraz or Piscu in for G Caldwell.
I’m sorry but if S Caldwell plays alongside Gohouri we’ve no chance on Saturday :problem:
I think he prays before games. You can see him in the tunnel with his eyes closed praying.
Let’s hope Allah smiles down on us for our remaining 13 games because it hasn’t worked so far :eh:
Looks taller than 5ft 10. I’ve seen a YouTube clip of him.
The Kilmarnock website says 5ft 10 but Wikipedia says 6ft 1. I read he was 6ft 2 somewhere and from what I’ve seen that looks about right.

However there were signs of life with him going forward against Villa.
I’ve got a feeling that Di Santo might break his duck tonight :wtf:

Let’s be honest the vast majority of SPL players are Championship level.
But you never know, it looks like he’s a late developer so he might improve just enough to stand a chance. He’ll give us something different anyway as he looks like a big strong lad. Could be handy at set pieces

I would have McArthur, McCarthy and Watson as our midfield three
