why not try two strikers up front, we certainly wouldn’t score less goals.
It isn’t quite as simple as that. It rather depends on who the two strikers are and who gives them the ball.
And if we put an extra person in attack, we’ll have one man fewer in midfield to supply the ball.
It’s up to Rosler to find a system that suits his squad, or get a squad that can carry out his chosen plan.
Somebody is making a mockery of this long-running thread. In addition, somebody can’t count.
Ah well, on to 700, but let’s show a little respect for a thread which posed such an innocent question but laid bare such strong emotions.
I sympathise. It’s very annoying when people stand up at every attack.
As soon as one excitable but antisocial person stands up, everyone behind them has to stand up to see as well.
If everyone remained seated, then everyone would be able to see.
To see with the old knees?
What’s wrong with the old eyes?
I suppose a cap is a help in both cases.
Such is the position of Everton in the league too.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock; two more places to go !This post is set to run !
Welcome back. The thread you started has become the thread of the season, so congratulations too.
It’s run rather longer than you expected, hasn’t it. Tick tock indeed.
One of Mike Harding’s stories is called The Fourteen Pound Budgie.

I hope that Ramis will demonstrate that he is fit to play.
Perhaps he needs a few more games after his operation.
not expecting anyone inbound but expecting another mcarthy situation last min exit by someone
our sugar daddy has shut shop
and who can blame him he spent a bit on shyte latley using clubs funds from sale of previous players
and anyway who wants to join a club with lack of ambition and happy to stay midtable in
championship
we have enough quality to do that this season
may need a smaller stadium though longer we lack ambition more folk will walk away :POther people think that recent purchases have been reasonable – now that Holt has gone.
A little more organisation can still bring more out of our existing squad.
We should be playing for a place in the play offs.
Ramis has failed his medical at palace
Failed a medical at Cardiff & now failed a medical at Palace. Looks like if does leave it will have to be to QPR.[/quote]
Looks like if he does leave it will have to be by ambulance!
Even the original poster seems to have lost interest long ago.
I’m not surprised. LostockHallLatic now looks rather foolish.
But there are still some people who love to wallow in any set back that Roberto suffers.
On to 600!
How long before “Bottom Four Bob” has Everton at the wrong end of the table?
It was a ridiculous thread from the start. Don’t blame me – I didn’t start it!
For some reason, lots of people have willingly contributed to it. But nobody makes you read their comments – surely you can find something better to do.
They don’t give any thought at all to the fans. They don’t care if they can get to matches or get home;
FA Cup semi-final tie Millwall v Wigan Athletic at Wembley Stadium
Saturday April 13 2013 17.15FA Cup final tie Man City v Wigan at Wembley Stadium
Saturday May 11 2013 17.15Everton are in the Premier League, where the Borough of Wigan no longer has a stake.
Does that mean that discussion about Premier League clubs is no longer allowed?
Or about Everton, from whom we have a player on loan?
It was a very important midweek programme – for Premier League clubs, that is. The results could well have a significant influence on league positions at the end of the season.
Some of us still take an interest in the Premier League. I’d say the results are worthy of a mention here – or are comments to be limited to just one aspect of sport within the borough?
