On reflection I think WGTB is actually obsessed with us “out of town” supporters, to the point of cyber stalking us.
If you think that healthy debate is the same as cyber stalking, then this thread really is in trouble.
It’s best to leave it here.

You and your little group will stick together just as we will, and that’s what makes for a healthy board.
Do you really think these threads are healthy debate? Fortunately, fans with the irrational views of the Bobsessives are a very small minority.
The posts don’t wind anybody up – your Bobsession only makes you look ridiculous. But I don’t want visitors to think that your views are representative of Wigan fans.
You’ve had your little joke, such as it was. Can’t you now find a better use for this board? Surely there is enough going on at Wigan today to talk about.

Their words, not mine.
Whatever happens, we won’t be playing Celtic.
Lots of moves rumoured;
Albrighton to return to Villa
Powell to return to United at Christmas – and go on loan to a Premier League teamWill Keane to come on loan from United
Garcia injured and out for six weeks
Ramis ready to return
Al Habsi hopes to return soon
Caldwell hopes to be fit by ChristmasHalf-season tickets now on sale at Everton for those who can’t let go of Bob.
I remember when we used to rely on good football rather than good fortune.
(If only Fortune was good!)
Rubin Kazan W3 D1 L0 10pts
Wigan W1 D2 L1 5pts
Zulte Waregem W1 D1 L2 4pts
Maribor W1 D0 L3 3ptsIf Wigan beat Zulte Waregem and Kazan beat Maribor, then Wigan will go through to the next round. Zulte Waregem are playing well, Kazan may relax against Maribor. I suspect qualification will have to wait until the last game.
Lostock – in case you don’t read The Independent, Ian Herbert reported yesterday;
But Martinez’s side played some gorgeous football. Phil Jagielka is the prime example of the fact that relearning the game need not take an eternity. Ross Barkley looks as if Martinez has been managing him all his life.
The Spaniard’s biggest challenge was to douse talk of a top-four finish – “too early; ask in March” – but nothing can disguise early signs he will build a big reputation at Goodison.
If only Holt could play for 90 minutes.
As Anuradha Desai has assured Gary Bowyer that Jordan Rhodes will be staying at Blackburn, a move for him seems unlikely.
But sometimes it’s hard to distinguish the cowboys from the Indians.
A great shame for Kone. Everton will just have to get by with Lukaku.
What are your Everton friends saying about Roberto now, Phil?
He always played free flowing attacking football, always set his team up right for every match, his tactics were near on perfect all the time and he always had a plan B for when plan A failed. Those were indeed his objectives. But against clubs with increasing squads of much more skilful players, his cut-price team was always likely to struggle.
I doubt that we will ever have a manager as innovative as Martinez again. He would make subtle adjustments to players’ positions throughout a game. Once again on Saturday he demonstrated his ability to change the tactics during a game.
His introduction of three at the back, with Boyce and Beausejour as wingbacks, was a master stroke. It didn’t just happen overnight – it took three months of training. And it was still a very daring step to take.
The team he cobbled together for the Cup Final from the remnants of his squad was another unlikely tactical success. It was always going to find the next game at Arsenal a game too many. But not many fans would now swap Premier League survival for winning the cup.
When you suggest that he had no Plan B, I assume you mean that he wouldn’t abandon the desire to play good football. That, of course, is true and to his credit. I hope the Everton fans appreciate their good fortune.
That’s a very positive way of looking at it!
And it could run and run. It’s going to be some time before we get the answer to the title of the thread.
But I can understand why there are fewer active posters here. It’s strange to find more comments about Everton’s forthcoming games than about Wigan’s. Does no-one care about Wigan’s matches any more?
80% of the last fours years was not easy viewing – it was just that the other 20% was so sublime it completely subsumed the dross. Are you saying that the football was unattractive in 80% of the games, or that the team couldn’t manage good enough results?
But you’re right that on their day they were imperious.
Looking back, Coyle was sharp enough to pay £3 million for Shrewsbury-born Steven Fletcher to join Burnley.
After relegation, Burnley sold him for £6.5 million to Wolves.
After relegation, Wolves sold him for £12 million to Sunderland.
Back to the thread; How long before “Bottom Four Bob” has Everton at the wrong end of the table?
It looks more foolish than ever. But, as you say, Lostock is quite entitled to be foolish.
