The Arsenal “splattered wasp” one was pretty bad.
Remember in about 93 I think, Brighton had an horrendous Pink/White kit.One of the worst I’ve ever seen was I think a Zaragoza or Atletico Madrid one, Red and White, it was brought out for something to do with the city hosting the EXPO thing…absolutely dreadful.
Have to say our luminous Yellow one was very bad, Everton actually managed to find an even worse version of it…..topped it all off with this season’s Pink away kit, the scousers are going mad

Talking of squads, has anyone seen what North Korea have attempted to do with theirs? They’ve named the normal 23 man squad, including 3 keepers…..except 1 of the keepers is normally a centre forward. Fifa have apparently told them that if he is used as a substitute then he has to go in goal.

Spot on Griff, bet he wasn’t calling Whelan Old Bastido when he took us through the divisions and took us to a Carling Cup final…..Dave Whelan has taken our little club to heights we could only dream of, now we’ve got there the town has turned its back on the club, and he wonders why we don’t spend money.
If I wasn’t a Latics fan but owned the club, I’d sell it tomorrow and give a verbal 2 fingered salute to the so-called *”supporters” we have in this town.

I would play Hart before anyone else, he’s an excellent keeper and seems to have a nerveless streak in him. Anyone who thinks we shouldn’t take Hart is talking out of their arris
Seeing as we paid £6m + Ryan Taylor, £8m was an absolute insult anyway, if we get something close to £15m, then its definately worth considering.
Not quite transfer gossip, but what happened to James McArthur from Hamilton….last I heard was that he was going to have a trial with us, anyone know what happened with that?
They’re not bad losers at all, they’ve been brilliant for years at losing games and it being somebody else’s fault, I bet it was something like 1984 the last time they deserved to lose a game.
Apparently it was the refs fault they lost yesterday, maybe they expected him to tackle the Leeds bloke to stop him scoring.
The only thing I would say about using Gomez as an example, is that Spurs more than us, can afford to make the odd poor signing, whereas we perhaps need to be more certain of how we spend our money.
I agree though, he does look a good shot stopper, but I dont think I would be signing him yet with a view to first team football…..maybe the answer would be to send him on loan for half a season to Championship club and see how he performs.
