I thought Watson had what is now his usual outstanding game.
If Scott Parker had made that pass for Sammon to score the equaliser Sky Sports would still be wetting themselves over it.
All round great game from Watson
Had a few near me leave after we went 2-0 down. Bet they feel foolish now.
Not sure i can take that again next week. How about a standard 3-0 win Roberto ?
I’m a member there and have been for a couple of years. If you do get money off for being a season ticket holder then i’ve never heard about it.
Only real perk you get by being a member is 10% off at the adjoining shop.
When the game was moved the story on the offical website said it was at the request of international broadcasters
where is everyone?
Watching Hilario Gomes get us relegated ? :shifty:
Lets just hope we dont end up level with someone and it drops back to amount of goals scored to separate teams :?
Stoke – Wolves tonight. Another big game at the bottom.
Stoke have won just one of their last 8 games :?
Blackburn still have West Ham and Wolves to play in their run in. Plenty twists and turns to pan out yet.
mmmmmmm a Bowton supporting chubbieTalk about being dealt a shit hand in life.
Seems their little thread over there has been revived after the game today.
I think “Wandering Warrior” nicely sums up the way they view us.
Read alot that says Fergie rates him highly and wants to keep him but he’ll be 22 by the time next season starts and has yet to make a first team appearance for Manchester United you have to wonder ……..
Or maybe you stopped because the other comments don’t suit your views. i won’t be back, ban me if you like. No, but if your first point is going to be so factually incorrect then i expected the others will have only been in a similar vein. Points made with emotion rather than fact.
Not sure what you want someone to ban you for, this isnt rlfans you know.
I’m sure you’ll be back anyway, just to see what we’ve all said. I’ll bet you cant keep away.
Yet totally failing to notice the inane and vitriolic posts over there.
Strange that.
I really don’t know why i am bothering to post, but i heard about some of the postings on here so decided to take a look. I have to say that i find many of the posts on here very sad, uninformed, one-eyed and frankly embarassing.
!. if the ground was not for shared use, it would not exist. That was a condition of the European monies supplied to build it, and the councils passing of the plans.
2. St Helens are at Widnes this season because they, St Helens, are having a new stadia built.
3. If we are a small club from a pointless small game, why are you so interested in us.
4. If you are such a big fish, why on earth do you snipe at our attendance figures even though they are higher than the rugby when you seldom, if ever fill the ground DESPITE playing in the biggest, wealthiest, most watched football league in the world, with some of the biggest clubs in the world within 40 miles of Wigan, on the doorstep.
5. And no i have not spelt my name incorrectly, its a play on words, but i would imagine that the subtlety will be lost on this sad forum populated with people with a bag of chips on each shoulder.
Sorry people, i really have made myself look silly.
I’ve stopped reading at point 1 because the planning permission was granted before Wigan Warriors ever got involved in the JJB Stadium. The only “duel use” before that was Wigan Athletic and Orrell RUFC from what i can remember. I’m sure others can provide more dates and details to back up that point.
Feel free to correct me if this is one of these rare occurrences when i am wrong.
As for not not knowing “why i am bothering to post” – maybe it’s because you can come here and, hopefully, have a civilised discussion, without being instantly banned
They’re certainly gettign a bit hot under the collar – http://forums.rlfans.com/viewtopic.php? … 98&start=0
But then so would i in this weather if i weighted 18stone like your average female rugby fan.
