I would say Diame is currently one of the best midfielders in the country. Its his first season in the Premier League and he looks absolute quality everytime he plays. How anyone can criticise him is beyond me. I thought we were excellent last night and up till the sending off dominated the game in the backyard of the wealthiest club in the world. Loads of positives to take into the games coming up as long as we bin that dodgy keeper!
Remember writing the post below when we lost to Blackburn and got slated for it on here. You only have to look at his record at other clubs to see he is a misfit. What Mike Pollit has done wrong is beyond me!
“Where the hell have we pulled this fella out from? Must be the worst keeper we have had since Paladino. Yes we were poor tonight but its hard to have confidence in your keeper when he is coming and missing every cross, kicking into touch and not communicating with the back four in any way. Its a disgrace if he plays Saturday”.
Basically it would affect the following relegation rivals if they went out the league looking at previous results:
West ham -4 points
Bolton -3 points
Sunderland -2 points
Hull -1 pointSo 8 say stay. None say go. Just checking im still in the majority. Even if we go down ill still be backing him.
Why when you post do you always get some prick saying ‘by the way i have been going longer than you’. Its a pointless statement. You cant know that and i could be 79 years old for all you know. Self righteous insecure mongs!

I just don’t see the attraction in signing a keeper who has played just over 30 first team games in 5 seasons, being loaned out three times in the process. Will wait and see but first two games aint convincing.
so bigroy says he is rubbish,do you watch wigan ,or are you
just one of the many moaners on this site, you say kirkland
is better in a wheelchair what about kirkys two cock ups
against stoke and liverpool when he came for crosses and
got nowhere near any,i was there last night and he should
have not come for the cross, but at least he did get a fist on the ball
only time will tell if he is a good keeper, cause kirky does not
inspire me when coming for crosses and he is 6ft-5Don’t start me off son. Have had a season ticket since 1980 so wont be playing the ‘superfan’ game. I paid my 29 quid and am entitled to my opinion. The keepers performance last night was atrocious. It wasnt just the goal. He continually came and missed crosses, had obvious problems communicating with the back 4 and his kicking was laughable. Over the last couple of seasons i have witnessed Kirkland keep us in many games. Yes there have been a few gaffs but on the whole he has been excellent. Next time you post remember you can use full stops. They not teach you much in Abram ya mong!
Give him time? Aye. Leave him in and watch him cost us point after point. All the opposition need to do is knock crosses into him as he hasnt caught one yet! If he plays on saturday its ridiculous. Kirkland in a wheelchair could do better!
Disaster? To make Martinez the scapegoat is just crazy. He has not been given a penny to spend and so far has had to sell his best players with little funds to replace them. If you go regularly you must know that over the last 12 months we have lost our 4 best players with over 30 million coming into the club. Very little has been spent and thats a fact. He is doing his best with the little resources he has and until he gets more we will always be at the bottom end of the table!
plenty jobs if you want one. Infact I have one on offer if you are qualified and educated.Private message me and I will have you send your CV. Thats if you want a job and it wont effect your benefits.
Martinez OUT!
Another loyal cyberfan. Get to the game instead of sitting on your computer throwing comments out. And dont give me any crap about being there. You cant post on here at 10.15 as the game only finished at 10.
Decent turn out by our fans too for once!
Most accomplished away performance since first game. Could easily have been 5 or 6. Caldwell quality and looks like he can play a bit. Great to see Diame back.
Never mind watching it on the tele. Those that were there would have to say that hugo was different class all afternoon. Never stopped running, creating chances and threatening all day. Nzogbia was great second half but pretty woeful first half (bit like United away) and has a long way to go to be a better all round player than Valencia.
If I were you guys, I would worry about about crowds and not anyone
else’s.
5000+ was pathetic for an FA cup tie. We would have got nearly double that 20 years ago. Please show me where my criteria states the 3rd round.
And while I’m at it let me educate you.
1985 is not 20 years ago, and neither is 1986.Next.
Where you on many away terraces in the 80s with Latics John. Those that were there know who were there. You could name the faces at away games in those days with the 50 on the Latics liner plus 20 others being the stalwarts. I cant recall you being at many!
Your ‘source’ will probably be Kevin ‘the brain surgeon’ Langley i would guess. So after coming on national radio saying we are selling nobody we are now flogging The Zog, Hugo and Figgy. May as well relegate us now then!
