Yep O’Neil was a decent player :) I think he scored a Hat Trick in one game? and I think it was an injury that ended his career?
I said exactly the same thing to my mate :( To slow, and why they have him taking corners… They are either to short or to long. What does he do in training? If he is the corner taker he should be practicing taking long, short, corners 2 hours a day.
Just got back from the game. CLUELESS. I thought we had seen the back of this sort of play. To slow, Muscled off the ball to easily, Looks like they have never played together before.. In the end lucky to come away only 2-0 could have been 4 or 5

I will give anyone a CHANCE but what I’ve seen of him pre season and up to now, Apart from a fluke and a penalty, he hasn’t looked liked scoring. I can run faster and jump higher than he does and I’m twice his age. I remember a few years ago when we signed, I think it was O’Neil? from Portsmouth for a BIG FEE A few Latics fans were in a bar in Bournemouth a few weeks later, when they were down there to watch the Bournemouth Latics game and were talking to Ted McDougal. He told them that when the Latics people signed the paperwork and left the room all the Portsmouth directors burst out laughing. Looks like History could have repeated itself.

On a 14hr Russian train journey,statistics state 1 person is likely to be robbed at knifepoint, 1 person is likely to be robbed by a drug user, 1 person is going to be buggered forecably.Best take the wife with me at least it will narrow the odds down to 2 to1
I have always wanted to travel on the Trans Siberian Express. Moscow to Kazan is the nearest thing to it. Traveling across the Russian Steppes by train… What an adventure and something to tell the Grand Kids.
Wish I had the guts to do it on my own :(
