For Darkside read REALISTS, Can anyone honestly say we have improved since Bruce left? If they can, I would be enlightened to know how? Maybe I’ve missed something  I thought, Winning Games, Scoring Goals, Not Letting Goals In, Entertaining the Fans, was what football was about
Hi aceface, I ain’t slagging anyone off for their opinions. That’s what the games all about. However if you are happy to see the Latics. performances over the last two seasons, you are easily pleased. I’ve never been as BORED in 50 years of watching football. As it would appear are a lot of other people, hence the drop in attendances. Just because I say negative things about the club doesn’t mean I ain’t a supporter I am a Share Holder (for what it’s worth) and when the club where in dire straits and were on the verge of folding. At a meeting held in the Queens Hall I signed up to pay x number of pounds a month to help the club keep afloat. So I do have the club at heart. It’s just I hate to see it in decline like this, due to one man’s( or maybe two) stubbornness or inability to change anything.
I agree with everything you say. It’s akin to your girlfriend giving you the elbow then you go around telling everyone that “You didn’t really fancy her anyway” ‘Can all the ‘better in the Championship Brigade’ explain what they want the team to do when we are in there? I always thought the idea was to win games, in order to get promoted. Not lose games and get relegated again
Yep, and one of them was from 4 yards My missus could have got that on target. The ratio of shots to shots on target is abysmal. Not just in today’s game but every game. Hence the number of goals we’ve scored this season.
I have never understood all the hype about Beckham. World’s Best Player  He wasn’t even Man Utd’s best player… Give me Paul Scholes anytime. Much better all round player.
I must admit I think Gomez isn’t good enough for the Premiership. However I felt sorry for the guy yesterday. It isn’t his fault he ain’t good enough. It’s Martinez fault for keep playing him. It’s just like anyone at work getting promoted into a job you aren’t equipped to do. Yet your boss keeps you in there. What would you do Pack it in? No doubt the lad is unhappy here, as he must know he isn’t up to it. I bet he can’t wait for a move to a club at a level where he can fit in. Hopefully this month.
Don’t forget Caldwell ;) Neither him his brother or Alcaraz are anywhere near as good as Bramble, and I never thought that I would ever say that before he came to Wigan. Why aren’t we going for Wheater? It appears he’s going to Stoke for £1.5 million.
GET RID of Martinez as well, he hasen’t a clue. Another thing I thought I would never say, GET FAT SAM :o
Could have been 10….
I am now in a quandary on what to do on Saturday afternoons :?: I think I would rather go down to the pub give the first guy I see £10.00 to kick me in the balls then go home and watch a film on the T.V. Same outcome as going to the DW recently. No enjoyment, a sick feeling in the stomach, and a ruined weekend, but at least I’ll save £10.00.

In the real world, if you spent £6,000,000 of the company’s money on a machine that you said would increase production, and it didn’t. Can you see the M.D. backing you :?:
Also, if you did buy a machine for that amount of moeny, you wouldn’t start hitting it with hammers and abuse or even throw it out. You would try to work out why it wasn’t doing the job, work with and get the team behind it to help it be more productive.[/quote]
Precisely. and if the production team can’t make it perform, as was expected??? Then get someone in who can. All providing the machine was as good as advertised in the first place.
It’s his whole demeanor which is completely unatural in a sport like football. He stands there with arms folded for the whole 90 minutes. Shows no emotion, if we score or let in a goal, and has Graham Jones, like a little errand boy, running up to him, saying something in his ear then going back to the bench. It ain’t natural. He must be the only person in the whole stadium week in week out who dosen’t show any passion whatsoever.
You can say what you want about managers like Mick McCarthy and Ian Holloway at least they show some emotion, which must have some effect on the team.
However if a team lets in a goal and they look across at a manager who is stood there, like something out of Madame Tussaudes. What message does that portray :?

Two postings in 10 minutes from me, has proved to day that I am well and truly P****D OFF. Was expecting a win ( Bit optimistic  ) At least a draw, but 3-1 against a tam all the pundits, at this stage of the season, had put down for relegation says it all.
We were the best team in first half, but bad tactics in second half. Sat back and allowed Newcastle to come at us.
Zog was by miles the best player on the field in the first half, but never saw him in the second. Two points dropped
