Standish, you are repeating yourself now, so I will repeat myself. I am sorry for criticising your idol. I just don’t know how you can come out with a bold statement like you did, unless you watch all the games… I could call that talking nonesense. You really do remind me of the ex wife, you are not female by any chance? I haven’t read your profile. As for the edit, whats your point?
Stan, you ARE sensitive, trust me.
What do you base this on? Appearances? Goals? I would’ve thought Sam would prefer his best player on the pitch, not either substitute or substituted.
This…
Diame later took part in a full training session but West Ham are struggling to hold on to one of their best players.

Diame has been outstanding for us this season

Diame, who was in outstanding form before his injury and is now fit again following

to lose a player of Diame’s stature would have a drastic effect on the team

We’ve had no bids from any of the clubs that have been rumoured in the papers. He’s our player and hopefully come 1 February he will still be our player. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21182797?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter)PS. He was on the bench because he’s been injured. He’s played 18 games and scored 2 goals thus far.
He’s as good as me on the bench, but none of that suggests he is their BEST player. Sorry for criticising RM, I realise you are sensitive to this from the research you put into your reply.

Apparently Arsenal may look to sign Diame from Wet Spam…
Madness….
Not madness.. Was one of the better players we have had, stupidly didn’t play him during the back end of our last season and seemingly didn’t make an effort to keep hold of him.
His style of play suits Aresenal and since he first joined us I had a feeling he would end up there. B)
Edit: I meant in his last season for us.
Doesn’t surprise me at all. I was wondering how long it would take Fat Sam to work Diame out. I think Diame flatters to deceive, he can’t last 90 mins and for a 6 footer WON’T head the ball. I thought it funny when we had a corner he was sent back to defend on the half way line. So what took RM a couple of seasons to suss out it would seem Fat Sam has worked out in a quarter of that time. Oh and before I forget, we didn’t do too badly without Diame in the side did we? I suspect Sam is actively looking to get shut, QPR were linked a couple of weeks ago.
Aye, was there not scaffold around the front of the stage with a big fat bloke with a 30mm spanner in the back pocket of his jeans on guard? They weren’t on stage long if i remember rightly, never seen as many police cars/vans as got called down Melverley Street that night…good days tho.
I wasn’t a fan of the Macc Lads as I’m a big believer in the adage that music & comedy shouldn’t mix – and on top of that I thought their music was $h!te & they weren’t funny.
However one of my mates was a massive fan of their & I did watch some of their live videos when he was trying to convert me into liking em.
Wasn’t the big fat bouncer bloke they used to take round with them called Ben Nevis? I remember em inviting him up on stage at whichever show the video was from & inviting him to show the audience “your belly & your @r$e” – both were quite big from what i rememberIncidentally I also went to my first gig at the GM Buses Transport Club – Carcass in early 1990 & was also at the Green Day gig there in December 1991 although I’d gone to watch the local band Jailcell Recipes. There were some cracking gigs at that place
Aye, Ben Nevis it was, couldn’t think of his name.Do you remember Gannet having a shower in the automatic bus wash? There wasn’t too many windows left in the van either…it must of been a cold drive back to Macc that night!

Whatever heppened to the Jeff Wright Appreciation Society? Never heard of em after they donated the matchball around 79/80.
The Chelsea game was indeed a Saturday 3pm kick off, and was in fact a replay from the previous Saturday which finished 2-2. This despite us taking an early 2-0 lead. I seem to remember Nevin scoring at Stamford Bridge (overhead??) and I think Speedie got tother at Springfield Park.
He talks Pollocks!
Good decision a bad call…
“I wouldn’t take any other keeper to replace Ali and that’s how much we rate him,” Martinez insisted.“He’s the perfect goalkeeper for ourselves – he’s someone who can fit in in the way we want to play.”
How anyone can not see the difference between the above comments and “I wouldnt swap him for any keeper in the world” is beyond me….
Sounds the same thing to me Salford, but as you say, it must be beyond you.
I did write what I meant, I said that “I” wouldn’t swap him. I think most people on here agree, being positive and all that… You however, just seemed to want to pick holes and, in your pathetic words, “wait for people to come on here”.. blah blah blah. Like I say, 6384 posts says it all. Griff, You are a legend in your own cyber world.
The waiting bit was about Gomez and directed at MightyAff and the context has already been explained. So you can add can’t read to can’t write to your list of failings.
Really not arsed what you think of me.
Can’t read? you’re obviously not familiar with the works of Herman Melville, as my username suggests I am. ;)
